🟡 R U OK? Day: A Strong Team Starts with a Simple Question 🟡 At ONJ Services, we understand that behind every successful project is a team that feels supported and valued. Today on R U OK? Day, let’s remember that asking a colleague, "Are you OK?" can make all the difference. In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to focus solely on the task at hand. But by taking a moment to check in with each other, we create a safer, more supportive workplace where everyone can thrive. Start the conversation today. Your care could be exactly what someone needs. #RUOKDay #MentalHealth #SupportYourTeam #ONJServices

💛 R U OK? a question that is not asked enough in our day to day lives. The happiest people can hide an injured soul; The strongest people can get tired from trying to stay strong. Be sure to check in on family, friends, colleagues or even a person you cross paths with. You never know who is struggling. Let's start conversations and be there for each other 💛 #RUOK #depression #suicideprevention #help #support #assistance

🖤💛 Today is National R U OK? Day 🖤💛 At R-Group, we're committed to creating a culture where everyone feels safe and supported. Remember, every day is a good day to check in on your friends, family, and colleagues and ask, "Are you OK?". It’s okay to not be okay, and it’s okay if you don’t have all the answers. Sometimes, just knowing that someone is in your corner and cares can make all the difference. Never underestimate the power of a conversation. #rgroup #RUOKDAY #MentalHealth #Support #CheckIn #mentalhealthmatters #employeewellbeing

When you check in on someone, sometimes it helps to check again When we ask someone how they are, they typically respond with “I’m fine, thank you,” or “I’m good, thanks.” If you ask again, you might get a different response on the second attempt because you are signaling that you are not asking out of politeness or as a conversation starter, you are asking because you care.🙂 Let’s make it a habit to connect with one another truly—check in, listen, and support those around us.✌ Help build a workplace where everyone feels supported. #WorldMentalHealthDay2024 #MentalHealthCare

The goal of wellbeing initiatives should be harm reduction. People are relational creatures - meaning that community is what we naturally thrive in. Humans are not lone animals - we were hunter-gatherers before we started constructing pyramids and cities. Being in positive relationships is critical to psychological safety and team cohesion. You do that by reducing harm. I'm working on validating a measure of adverse work experiences that I hope can be used to help teams reduce harm in the workplace. Take part in the toxic work study to help us advance the science behind reducing harm in the workplace. https://lnkd.in/gCrJM4iK

How to avoid that "Sunday scaries": Work somewhere you love! Work somewhere that feels like a second home where you are just as comfortable at your desk as you are on your couch. Work somewhere that loves seeing your kids on days where you have child care issues and where you know you can leave without notice to tend to a suprise family matter. A place where you know leadership cares for your wellbeing. If you are not at that place now, go find it, it's out there waiting for you. #verdex #buildingsomethingbetter #workingmom #greatplacetowork

Therapists, let's be real—we all have that one part of our practice that could use a little extra TLC. Whether it's managing the admin load, finding that elusive work-life balance, or getting clients to actually schedule online, asking for support is part of the journey! 🌱💪 Drop a comment with one area you'd love a little guidance on, and let's open up the conversation. There's power in community, and it's about time we normalize asking for help—yes, even as therapists. After all, we're better together! 🧠💙 👇 Let's share, connect, and support each other in building practices that thrive! 👇 #TherapistsHelpingTherapists #PeerSupport #TherapistCommunity #PrivatePracticeLife #MentalHealthProfessionals #TherapistsUnite #NormalizeAskingForHelp #TherapistTips #SupportNetwork #MentalHealthJourney

Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay, and this year’s theme is ‘workplace mental health’. Caring is often a hidden issue in the workplace, making it difficult to talk about and support. One in five carers give up work because balancing caring and holding down a job becomes too much. VOCAL works with employers to create carer-friendly workplaces. We can support you in raising awareness, leading team discussions, building carer networks, also reviewing and developing internal policies. Employers can also access downloadable resources for line managers and staff. Supporting carers to remain in work can unlock significant economic benefits. With the right support and awareness from colleagues and their employer, many carers can continue to work. To find out how we can help you, please email [email protected] or visit: https://ow.ly/gVHW50Tv9LA
