Challenge yourself when creating new Digital Signage content.
JENNY HICKS and I sat down during ISE at the Midwich booth to discuss creativity and how important it is to the process of creating engaging content.
Some Key points that resonated with me.
1. Lean on others for ideas. Creativity can come from inspiration from others. Artists, Billboards, Youtube creators etc. Use their research to fuel your new creativity.
2. Avoid the "Industry standard." If everywhere you go you see L-bars, look at doing something more unique. Add a twist of creativity to make your work stand out.
3. Build better and more engaging content by thinking about your audience. Younger clientele? What about putting portrait videos (Ala shorts and reels) to fit more with your aesthetic.
4. Creative doesn't have to be BRAND. Play with the medium between a fully on-brand video and something with more "spice". Add unusual colour pallets to disrupt the audience to pay attention.
