Success is result of working hard, smart and doubling down on valid data you see in realtime. Doing both, with calculated risks, brings real results. Many entrepreneurs believe that the more hours they put in, the more successful they'll be. But true growth comes from leveraging the right tools and systems. Growth is about relying on data to see what works and doubling down on it. At Observant Convo, we empower you to achieve more by doing less. By automating repetitive tasks and streamlining your processes, you free up time to focus on what truly drives your business forward—innovation, creativity, and strategy. Brand Shopay Online is now making four figures in sales per month. We're taking a step back to diagnose what’s working well before scaling to six figure per month. It is a lot to plan and execute but that's the fun part. THE PROCESS. This result are just two solid automations on recovering abandoned checkouts and leveraging SMS, and yet to start email campaigns. With maintaining positive ROI without increasing CAC. If you're running a service-based business, you can see a lot better results as you can afford to play at higher speed with spending more on marketing channels from both organic content and paid Ads. What else do you get besides building a 24/7/365 system with funnels, CRMs, contacts, emails, and SMS? A calculated risk strategy, from someone who has run a 7-figure business for the past 10 years, wearing every hat there is to wear. 💡 Ready to grow? Here’s the thing: scaling a business is like taking a high-performance sports car out on the open road. It’s not just about the horsepower; it’s about having the right systems in place to handle the speed. With my RED Method, here’s how you can make your business run like a finely tuned machine: 1️⃣ Roadmap – Think of this as your GPS. Without a clear path, even the fastest car won’t reach its destination. Your customer journey should be mapped out to guide leads seamlessly through every turn, taking them from first encounter to loyal advocate. Set the course so there’s no stalling at any stage. 2️⃣ Engine – Your CRM is the powerhouse under the hood. It’s not just there to store contacts; it’s the turbocharger that powers your lead cultivation. With the right setup, you’re not missing any check-ins or follow-ups. It gives you the acceleration to connect with leads at the right moments and get results faster. 3️⃣ Drive – This is all about reach—the open road. To scale up, you need to get your business in front of more people. Think of it as going from city streets to the Autobahn: with the right campaigns, partnerships, and channels, you’re expanding into new lanes and picking up speed, maximising every chance to connect with new audiences. If you want to reach top speed, it’s all about alignment. Roadmap, Engine, and Drive—get these right, and your business won’t just run; it’ll fly. ---------------------------------------> Click on my name ➡️ Francis Rodino and FOLLOW & Ring the Bell 🔔 for breaking AI and Marketing Automation news, Client Converting Strategies, and Business Acceleration. What you believe you are selling in your business is not what the consumer sees as their gain. How to figure what they see? Two types of business initiations: Situation A: Some start a business because they’ve experienced a real pain point. Their solution to that problem is the seed of their business idea. Situation B: Others start with a problem they believe exists—a hypothesis they think will resonate. The Challenge in Communicating Value: When telling people what our product solves, we often drift into benefits instead of addressing the core reason for its existence. Take, for example, selling an automated BLOG AI tool. It’s easy to highlight features: -->Automatic spell-check for errors -->Blog posts generated with one click -->Access to stock and AI-generated images But what does the customer really want? -->More time to refine SEO and organic reach, leading to better exposure -->Fresh insights from blog ideas based on real-time trends -->Extra hours for business development to hit KPIs This is where I still struggle when crafting pitches, social media content, or CTAs. How I Find Clarity: Scenario A: Remember the reason you started. Ignore the newest features you’ve painstakingly designed. Go back to the original pain point you wanted to solve. Scenario B: This one’s tougher. Eat, Live and Breathe as your customer would. Understand their world intimately, then uncover the true “pot of gold” they’re seeking. Think about whether your content would make your customer nod along, smile, or feel seen. Customers crave outcomes that make them feel important, pain-free, confident, and capable of achieving their goals. They don’t want to hear about more customers, a better CTR, or higher profits. PS: In a nutshell, if you’re an airline, don’t sell the seat’s reclining feature. Sell the feeling of arriving at beautiful Hawaiian beaches. #BusinessInsights #CustomerValue #MarketingStrategy #SalesTips #ContentThatConverts #KnowYourWhy #CustomerExperience #ValueProposition #BrandMessaging #MarketingPsychology #EntrepreneurMindset #SellTheVision

🎯 40 Hard Marketing Truths I Wish I Knew Before Starting My Business (Part 2/2) Following yesterday's viral post, here are the final 20 marketing truths that every entrepreneur needs to hear: Research & Data: Customer feedback is gold, but customers often don't know what they want until you show them. The data you track shapes the decisions you make. Choose your metrics wisely. A/B testing without statistical significance is just guessing with extra steps. The marketing strategy that got you to $100K won't get you to $1M. Competition & Positioning: Your real competition isn't who you think it is. It's customer indifference. Being different is more profitable than being better. The riches are in the niches. The more specific your target, the easier the sale. Price is only an issue in the absence of value. Implementation & Execution: The best marketing plan you never execute is worth less than a mediocre one you do. Most marketing fails due to inconsistency, not strategy. Your brand voice will feel wrong until it feels right. Keep pushing through the awkward phase. Marketing automation without personalization is just spam at scale. ROI & Investment: The highest ROI marketing activity? Talking to your customers. Free marketing isn't free. It costs time, which is often more valuable than money. Good marketing can't fix a bad product or poor customer experience. The most expensive marketing is marketing that doesn't work. Personal Growth: The best marketers are the best testers. Assumptions are the enemy of growth. Your marketing comfort zone is where opportunity goes to die. The market doesn't care about your excuses. It only cares about results. The hardest marketing truth? Sometimes you need to completely start over. Missed Part 1? Check my profile for yesterday's post with the first 20 truths! Which truth from Part 2 hit closest to home? Share your experiences below! 👇 #MarketingTruths #Entrepreneurship #BusinessGrowth #StartupLife #MarketingLessons Drop a "+" if you'd like me to expand on any specific point!

🤯 Just got off a call that left me speechless... A 7-figure home service business owner just told me they don't use a CRM. "We just use notebooks and post-it notes." Let that sink in. And here's the wild part: This isn't rare. Last month, I audited a tech company selling cutting-edge software... No conversion tracking No heat maps Basic CRM tags missing Customer journey? What customer journey? The irony was painful. But there's hope. Quick story: Last year, I worked with a company doing $5k/month (negative profit). In 60 days, we hit $25k/month. The secret? We didn't reinvent the wheel. We just fixed the basics. 15-30% of that revenue came from EXISTING prospects. 💡 Key insight after working with multiple 8-figure companies: The gap between 6 and 8 figures usually isn't: More ad spend Better offers Fancier tech It's SYSTEMS. That's why I can't just "run ads" anymore. It's like giving someone a Ferrari without teaching them how to drive. Sure, it looks cool, but you're probably going to crash. 🎯 The real growth formula: Fix the foundations Implement tracking Build scalable systems THEN accelerate growth Because success isn't about doing extraordinary things. It's about doing ordinary things extraordinarily well. 💭 Think about it: If businesses can hit 7-figures with post-it notes... Imagine what's possible with proper systems. #BusinessGrowth #Entrepreneurship #SystemsThinking #DigitalMarketing #ScalingUp

If there's someone you should listen to when it comes to improving the clarity of your value proposition, it's probably Peep Laja. He founded CXL, a high-level course platform that popularised many of the experimentation concepts you hear about today. School for CRO. He founded Speero, a conversion optimisation agency. Now he's CEO at Wynter, a research and message testing platform. Probably knows a thing or two about messaging and conversion optimisation. B2B SaaS companies will no longer be able to get away with confusing, corporate-looking, buzzword-filled websites. New startups will come and take your lunch. More SaaS companies are being built and competitors are fighting over the same pool of customers, causing CPMs to rise. The industry's highly desired gross margins are reducing. The demographic of today's SaaS founders is different. It's no longer reserved for management consultants, FAANGs, and industry veterans. They're young, social-native, and have less to lose if something goes wrong—a dangerous combo. If you want efficient growth then you must be performance-driven. That means building the optimal buyer's journey and continuous refinement. When people visit your website they're looking for answers, why make it difficult? Here's a direct quote from Alice de Courcy, CMO of Cognism, from a Wynter case study: “In general, the website used to be a thing that we had to deal with and not something pivotal to our strategy and approach, and now it’s fundamental to everything we do.” Great to see a post like this from Peep.
