New Mexico Cannabis still waiting on June sales data... The C.R.O.P. only lists REC sales records for 603 storefronts in June. 71 storefronts that reported REC sales in May have not reported sales for June. Of the 603 that reported REC sales in June, 429 were negative M/M. That's 71% down from May - not a strong June. Compare that with last year, when only 51% were down from May.

New Mexico Cannabis % of Storefronts. This one chart is so telling about the state of the NM cannabis. These observations carry significant implications for the future of the NM cannabis market. 1) Look at only 5% (5%!) of all storefronts can claim three consecutive months of positive M/M REC sales gains DESPITE strong sales months (March - June) 2) I am concerned that the number of storefronts with Total monthly cannabis sales of less than $50,000 is trending in the wrong direction—55.8% of all storefronts in March and now 59% in June. Nearly 60% of the retail market is at risk of closing...IF this trend continues. 3) There is concern that the number of storefronts reporting more than $100,000 in REC sales per month is dropping from 104 (15.3%) in March to just 84, or just 12.1%, in June. This is not a sign of healthy growth, as $100k and up offers opportunities to cover expenses and plan for growth. #newmexicocannabis #cannabisdata The Data Heard
