𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 - When Mustafa Suleyman explained AI in technical jargon 🤖, his nephew simply responded, '𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. 𝗦𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻?' Mustafa was stumped. In his talk, he shares insights like '𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴.' Emphasizing that AI is not separate from us; it is us. It's a concept so profound that even a six-year-old can grasp its essence. Let's delve into the fascinating world of AI together. #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #Tech #Innovation #FutureTech #TEDTalks #MachineLearning #DeepLearning #DataScience #DigitalTransformation

The headline "AI Shocks Again" likely refers to recent advancements in various Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects. Here's a breakdown of what we know about some of them mentioned: GPT-5: This is the next generation of OpenAI's Generative Pre-trained Transformer model. It's expected to be a significant leap forward, potentially performing human-level tasks in various fields. The video mentions an 18-month wait for release, though there's no official date. DeepMind V2A (Vision to Action): This could be DeepMind's project on translating visual information into actions. DeepMind is a Google subsidiary known for pushing AI boundaries in areas like games and protein folding. AI BRAIN: This term is broad but could refer to efforts to create an AI with human-like intelligence or capabilities. Many researchers believe Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is still far off. OpenAI Nuclear AI: This sounds like a more provocative term used in the video. OpenAI is known for its focus on safe and beneficial AI development, so "nuclear" might be used to highlight the model's potential power. Here are some resources to learn more (remember these are not directly linked): You can search for "AI Shocks Again: DeepMind V2A, AI BRAIN, OpenAI Nuclear AI, GPT-5 & More (June Monthly News)" to find the video you mentioned. Look up "GPT-5" and "DeepMind V2A" for specific details on those projects. Search for "OpenAI" and "Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)" for a broader understanding of AI research. https://lnkd.in/gJs6D_zb

I am personally very concerned about the impact that uncontrolled Artificial Intelligence can have on humanity. Inspired by the original Doomsday Clock that shows how close humanity is to nuclear annihilation, #IMD has created the AI Safety Clock to evaluate the risk posed by artificial intelligence outside human control. The speed at which #AI is progressing, in complete absence of any meaningful regulation, and the fact that AI growth is exponential not linear, means that we are currently at 29 minutes to midnight !

Are we putting the cart before the horse? In an article found on The Guardian, Max Tegmark, a leading scientist and AI campaigner, warns that big tech has successfully diverted attention from the risks posed by artificial intelligence. Speaking at the AI Summit in Seoul, Tegmark emphasized that the shift from focusing on AI's potential to cause human extinction to broader safety concerns delays crucial regulation. Drawing parallels to the early days of nuclear technology, Tegmark highlighted the urgency of regulating advanced AI models, such as OpenAI's GPT-4, which he views as a warning sign. He argues for governmental safety standards to make sure AI is developed responsibly. Read more on Tegmark's stance in the article below. #AI #regulation #digitalmarketing

AI like the fire. Yesterday I had a very nice dinner with a friend, talking among other things about AI. To me AI "discovery", so far, is very much lie the fire or nuclear "discovery". 1. It's a game changer 2. It's dangerous 3. It needs you practice to set it up to be usefull 4. It needs lots of rules to avoid accidents or misuse 5. It needs controls when you use to ensure the results you look for 6. It's here, it will never be forgotten 7. It will do some disaster before we learn how to manage 8. Finally It will improve our lives once the points above will be addressed. [Image created with AI] #lovecomplexity #outofthebox #artificialintelligence

Warren Buffett is SCARED of AI, But This Expert Calls Him OUT Warren Buffett's recent warning about AI, comparing it to the atomic bomb at Berkshire Hathaway's shareholder meeting, was deemed too pessimistic by Babak Zafari, a Georgetown professor. Buffett expressed fear over AI's potential dangers, particularly fraud, but Zafari argued that AI is more analogous to nuclear power, offering significant benefits alongside substantial risks. Highlighting AI's transformative potential in work and creativity, Zafari acknowledged serious concerns about regulation and misuse but pointed to the internet's evolution as a hopeful precedent. He suggested AI could enhance efficiency and customer engagement in industries like insurance, and while it might shift job roles towards creative and soft skills, it could ultimately improve job satisfaction if managed well.
