In a recent 2023 survey done by the Pew Research Center, 62% of people that answered "Yes" when being asked if they are happy at work said their bosses make them happy and create an environment that allows them to be productive without being overbearing. 2. Product. Genuine belief in your product or service is vital for success when in sales. Selling cyber-security means you are providing a needed solution for customers that protects their business (livelihood) from ransomware hackers. Receiving The 2024 CEO Award was a humbling experience to say the least. I remember the first year joining P&G in 2020, like anyone does, I was wondering "how do I get this prestigious award? what type of work quality that i need to present?" 😆. Fast forward to 2024, I finally got the answers (at least for me personally). The first "answer" came as the biggest learning this year, which was the realization that I'm able to give the best quality of work when I let go. I let go of the things that i don't have control over, and that's how I can stay focus and give my best (sounds counter-productive but that's what I have learned this past year in particular). The other "answer" is I realized that I am surrounded by world class teams, world class organization in my day today work and that drives me to bring out the best in me by our partnership. Also, I'm super lucky to be guided with the best managers Mba Dian Atika and Huey Hsin Gan as my support system especially at work on top of the support system that I already have outside of work. So, those are my "answers", letting go, partnership and sprinkle of luck with having good support system. Now, the rest is up to me to continue this legacy✨️

Howdy! Words cannot fully or truly express how much these awards mean to me. I have never been motivated by awards, honestly. Most people assumed I thrived on recognition and attention. Ironically, those people never paid attention. If they did sit down and get to know me, they would have learned that most everywhere I’ve been I’ve mostly felt like an afterthought. That’s not to blame anybody, really. The mind, as we know, can be a steel trap. Anyways, now that these awards sit in my office, I can’t help but feel proud. Again, words can’t express how much this means to me, so allow me to share how I think these accolades came to be. 1. It wasn’t because I dressed in quintessential professional attire always. 2. It wasn’t because I spoke like a scholar, and refrained from vulgarities in totality. 3. It wasn’t because my hair was styled a certain “acceptable” way. 4. It wasn’t because I am perfect. 5. It was because I showed up and gave it my all. 6. It was because I have a team around me that helps me to be successful. 7. It was because I have a team around me that makes me feel loved and valued. 8. It was because I have a supervisor who believes me when I say something is not right. Honestly, I feel anybody from my current team could have won it all this year. ✨ A Unique Perspective from Interpreting at #EWC Meetings     The European Works Council (EWC) aims to bring together employee representatives from the different European countries where a multinational company has operations.   During EWC meetings, central management informs and consults these representatives on transnational issues of concern to the company’s employees.    I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to be a silent observer at many EWC meetings. It's a dance of diverse cultures, opinions, and ambitions coming together. Here's what I've noted:   1. Cultural bridges: EWC members seamlessly become connectors, knitting together different cultural backgrounds with grace. The mutual respect and understanding on display is commendable.   2. Dedication to the cause: The depth with which representatives understand their company's ethos and strategy is palpable.   3. The Power of Networking: Connections being forged at these meetings aren’t just professional but deeply personal. The exchange of ideas goes beyond the agenda. Coffee breaks and social events are unique opportunities to establish and nurture deeper relationships with fellow European representatives and management.   And here's a few friendly suggestions from my observation corner:   ⭐ Seek Harmony: Aim to find a middle ground in every conversation. It amplifies the collective voice and reduces discord. ⭐ Preparation is Key: Walking into these meetings with homework done can be a game changer. It lays the foundation for more fruitful dialogues. ⭐ Embrace Continuous Learning: Every interaction and every discussion point is a chance to learn. Keep that curiosity alive.   In essence, these meetings are more than just discussions.   They’re symphonies of global collaboration and understanding.   Facilitating communication between parties reminds me how we all contribute to a larger global narrative.   So, to all the EWC members out there, your efforts to maintain global harmony don't go unnoticed.
