Insights from Dainis Niedra on Building and Maintaining Player Trust at iGG 2024. In an exclusive interview for iGG 2024, we had the pleasure of speaking with Dianis Niedra on the crucial topic of building and maintaining player trust in the iGaming industry. When asked how to build and maintain player trust, Dianis commented that in his experience, he has noticed that sometimes the regulator focuses on one specific stakeholder, such as players, and neglects the broader impacts on society and operators. He emphasised that "there is a very visible switch towards one single stakeholder, but you can't build a sustainable model by focusing only on one player, even if it's maybe the most important." I am thrilled to see our research spotlighted at the Isokinetics Conference in Madrid 🇪🇸! A heartfelt thank you to Mario Bizzini for for the recognition. Although I couldn't attend in person, it’s gratifying to see our work making a tangible impact in sports medicine. Our study on the FIFA 11+ Shoulder Injury Prevention Program demonstrated more than a 50% reduction in upper extremity injuries among soccer goalkeepers. With the participation of 726 goalkeepers over one season, we showed that strategic, well-structured warm-ups significantly enhance athlete safety and performance. These findings highlight the importance of innovative and collaborative approaches in advancing sports medicine. It’s about working smart and leveraging evidence-based practices for optimal outcomes. I am profoundly grateful to my co-authors, participants, and everyone who contributed to this project. Your dedication has been the cornerstone of our success.
