🎆 Stay Safe This Independence Day! 🎆 As we gear up for 4th of July celebrations, it's important to remember that fireworks can be dangerous if not handled properly. And so fast, here we are again, and it's this time of the year, midway from #XMas to #NewYear, where - at least for me - all slows down, allowing us to take a break and reflect, while the energy for a fresh start into 2024 already can be felt (or at least the calories, aquired). 🍪🎂 Looking back, for me, 2023 can be characterized by one word: Unpredictably.🚪‼️ Certainly, this has an element of exhaustion to accommodate various changes in both professional as well as personal life - so, the resting now is very much appreciated 🎄🎅🙏 However, on the other hand, this meant for me, that there were various and numerous positive surprises, I wouldn't have imagined to happen during 2023 such fast or not at all. To highlight one in particular: Meeting and working with new people and/or more closely both within #LYB as well on advisory side. 🤝🎁🔥 Aside from these factual items & changes, what (continues to) amaze(s) me is HOW these changes and challenges have been positively taken on by my #Family and my #Team, likewise. Turning challenges into chances, taking backlashes as learing opportunities, or additional projects as a mean to reflect on priorities and re-think the current state and way of approaching an ever-changing to-do-list 🤩🤩🤩 Therefore, when I can wish for "one" thing for the #NewYear, it is the continuation of this energy, health and positivity to be able to encounter new challenges also in the next year - as the only constant is change itself #PantaRhei ! 💪💪💪 Wish you all a peaceful start into #NewYear2024!
May this Christmas season fill your home with warmth, light and joy.

With Bonfire Night on November 5th, and many events happening all around this time of year, it’s important to prepare for the festivities while ensuring the safety and well-being of your pets, children, and others who may be affected, for example, veterans. We understand that fireworks in Stoke-on-Trent can be both exciting and distressing. Taking a few precautions can make a big difference. Here are some essential tips for keeping your loved ones safe during the celebrations. Create a Safe Space for Pets Fireworks can be unsettling for pets, so it’s crucial to create a calm and secure environment for them. Ensure your pets have a quiet space indoors where they can retreat when fireworks start. This could be a cosy room or a designated safe area with their bed, toys, and water. Close windows and doors to minimise the noise, and consider using calming pet products such as pheromone diffusers or anxiety wraps. A few minutes ago fireworks outside. In October. Obviously a party somewhere. Just for fun. Well, this is no fun. I know from many people with pets, that they start giving their pets tablets or other calming down medication 1,5 month before the end of December, so hopefully they can easier manage New Years' Eve. And what about all the other animals in nature.. and the people who are just walking their dogs in the park.. I react immediately, open the backdoor and scream as loud as I can when there is a pause in the fireworks: "Stop your fireworks, it is a-social!". Immediately it is silent outside. It helped. I am happy. For the animals and children/ babies/ adults who get upset from fireworks. We are all responsible for whatever is going on, because we contribute to it with our energy, beliefs, convictions, thoughts, ideas, opinions. We can make the change. When we change inside, the outer changes automatically. What are you doing when someone is doing something that upsets others/ people/ animals? Do you say something about it or do you say nothing because you are afraid and hope others will solve it? What is your contribution? #responsibility #change #innerchange #contribution #world #act #solve

Whether or not you're planning your own Independence Day celebration, it's important to take precautions to keep your pets safe before, during and after Fourth of July festivities. 🎆Make sure your pets have identification tags with up-to-date information. 🎆Make sure the environment is safe and secure. If your neighbors set off fireworks at an unexpected time, is your yard secure enough to keep your pet contained? 🎆Leave your pets at home when you go to parties, fireworks displays, parades and other gatherings. 🎆Loud fireworks, unfamiliar places and crowds can all be very frightening to pets, and there's great risk of pets becoming spooked and running away. 🎆Keep your pets inside if you or your neighbors are setting off fireworks. 🎆Keep sparklers, glow sticks, fireworks, charcoal and kabob skewers away from curious pets.

As we approach Memorial Day weekend, let's take a moment to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten. If you are spending the weekend with family and friends, make sure to keep safety a priority! Here are 5 tips to keep in mind while traveling or hosting a BBQ: 🔷 Stay hydrated: Whether you're hitting the road or firing up the grill, make sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially in the summer heat. 🔷 Practice safe driving: If you're traveling, remember to buckle up, avoid distractions, and follow the speed limit. Let's keep our roads safe for everyone. 🔷 Grill safely: When grilling, keep a safe distance from flammable materials, never leave the grill unattended, and make sure it's placed on a stable surface away from children and pets. 🔷 Practice fire safety: If you're using fireworks, follow all safety guidelines and laws. Keep a bucket of water or hose nearby and never relight a dud firework. 🔷 Plan ahead: Whether you're traveling or hosting a BBQ, plan ahead and have a designated driver if you'll be drinking. Let's make sure everyone gets home safely. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend! #MemorialDay #SafetyFirst
