If you're creative professional, curious about what goes on at Never Dull Studio, or you're just trying to take things to the next level in your brand, this one if for you.
I carry out a visual BTS walkthrough of our Hotshots identity development for BOXPARK, and showcase some of the key decisions around the visual identity, the character designs, while also give insights into how we handle certain elements of our projects.
You won't find glossy presentations, or overly curated dialogue. This is a rough-and-ready as you can get.

This was a really, really quick project, small budget, three weeks start to finish. After a bit of work, we kind of came up with this idea of doing a games night. Now Boxpark already had a few games nights, but we felt there was a quite an interesting way to take it in a slightly new direction. And then we sort of delved into a lot of like first hand research and we found that Gen. Z, there was a lot of like embracing of the past, like, you know, it's like retro normative 90s kind of desire. They were kind of really bringing through this like love for analogue kind of went away and started looking at really old. Sort of skate graphics and this was kind of the first design we we developed and vetted it really like cleanly started to add a bit more kind of perspective to it and then that kind of led us into this this where we took.
