Today, participants will: - Ask questions of the utility and fleet panelists - Evaluate EPRI’s new cross-industry eRoadMAP tool, which aims to accelerate utility grid interconnections and prioritize grid investments (note, critical industry planning data already provided by Amazon, Daimler Truck, Enterprise Mobility, FIRSTstudent, National Automobile Dealers Association, Paccar, Volvo Truck, WRI, the nation’s largest public charging provider, and more. - Participate in a cross-industry stakeholder breakout discussion that will probe the following fundamental challenges we are all facing today: - Utility lead-times: Why do 18-24 months of additional notice mean so much to utility planners? - Fleet plan confidentiality: Why is aggregated and anonymized fleet plan information helpful? - Fleet plan uncertainty: Why is uncertainty to be expected and still useful? - What other questions do fleet operators (and utilities) need to have addressed to minimize the risks of sharing preliminary electrification plans (and capacity information)? At SE Systems, we’re proud to share the progress we’ve made in our journey towards sustainability. With a fleet of 64 vehicles, we’ve long been aware of our environmental impact, which is why we set the goal to convert 50% of our fleet to electric vehicles (EVs) by 2030. We recently took part in SEAI's EV Commercial Fleet Trial, a crucial step in exploring the benefits of electric vehicles in real-world conditions. One of our BEWHS surveyors in Cork successfully used a 100% electric vehicle for three months, providing us with invaluable insights into how we can implement EVs across our team nationally. This trial allowed us to learn, measure, and evaluate the practicalities of adopting electric vehicles while maintaining seamless service to our clients. We’re also proud to announce that we’ve added another electric vehicle to our fleet, bringing us even closer to a greener future. PACT founding member “Geotab’s ‘Taking Charge: On the Road to an EV Future’ report analysed driver data from 1.3 million vehicles across seven countries over 12 months.
