Recent tech advancements and the expansion of the hybrid workforce has made organizational alignment increasingly difficult to achieve. As organizations struggle to ‘row together’, we see a gap between importance and effectiveness in achieving strategic priorities and delighting customers. How can leaders close the gap? Creo surveyed 250+ supply chain executives focusing on their priorities, challenges, technology, and people. We discovered true alignment is a bigger issue than organizations realize: - Just under half of Supply Chain executives see an opportunity to improve alignment between their function and the rest of the organization - 82% of respondents rate customer prioritization as a high priority, yet only 11% cite service as one of the top 2 KPI’s - 80% of respondents plan to invest heavily in advanced technologies and ERP in the next three years, but 60% report underleveraged technology in their organization Organizational alignment is one of the greatest challenges teams are facing. Leading companies will drive alignment by elevating S&OP, connecting customer service levels more effectively to key KPIs, and leveraging existing technology more effectively.
