I was auditing this Google Ads account. When multiple calls from the same number are received, it should be counted as one conversion, not more than one. When setting up conversion tracking for your business, you must pay attention. #googleads #ppc #localbusiness

🚨 Google Ads Removing eCPC – Why It's a Loss for Advertisers 🚨 It’s truly disappointing to see yet another example of advertisers losing control, with Google Ads now removing Enhanced CPC (eCPC). 😞 eCPC gave us the ability to refine our bidding strategies by adjusting bids for clicks more likely to convert, while still keeping an element of manual control. With this feature being phased out, advertisers are left with fewer options to blend automation with hands-on management. So, why does this matter? 👉 Less control: Advertisers who relied on eCPC for a hybrid approach between manual bidding and automated strategies now face fewer options for optimising their campaigns. 👉 Over-reliance on automation: While automation can be powerful, handing over more control to Google’s algorithms reduces transparency and flexibility in how we run campaigns. 👉 Decreased customisation: Every business is different, and balancing machine learning with our own insights is key to getting the best results. Losing eCPC means one less tool to tailor our approach. As marketers, it’s frustrating to see our ability to control and manage campaigns being diminished. What do you think of this change? 🕐 Why Rushing Into Maximize Conversions Can Cost You More Than You Bargained For❓ 🟢 Introducing a Maximize Conversions or Maximize Conversion Value strategy in Google Ads can supercharge your results—but only when done at the right time. Too often, advertisers jump the gun, following Google's recommendations prematurely, only to face rising CPCs and lackluster conversions.✅ Here’s what you need to know: 1️⃣ Patience Pays Off Wait until you’ve gathered sufficient data and achieved at least three months of stable performance. Don’t let recommendations or reps rush you—data-driven decisions lead to better outcomes. 2️⃣ Know Your Metrics Before switching strategies, analyze the last 90, 60, and 30 days of conversion trends. Consistency and at least 30 conversions per month are essential benchmarks. 3️⃣ Smart Target Setting Set realistic Target ROAS or CPA goals based on current performance, not future aspirations. Incremental adjustments are key—think steps, not leaps. 4️⃣ Stick to the Plan Once you introduce the strategy, give it at least four weeks to stabilize. Avoid over-tweaking during this period, as initial dips are normal before results improve. 5️⃣ Don’t Mix Goals Adjust your budgets and bidding strategies separately. Focus on either growth or profitability during each phase for sustainable success. #ppcspecialist #ppc #googleads #biddingstrategy

🚫 Dear Business Owners, Google Reps are NOT your friends! 🚫 Google has specific teams set up to call you for account support and optimization help. You have to understand that this is not a support call. It's a SALE call. These teams have targets to make you spend more. If you observe closely, their recommendations are all based on making you spend more than you actually should! (NO, I'M NOT JUST TALKING ABOUT BUDGET INCREASE). Most of these optimizations are disguised as recommendations, that give Google control. (Trust me, you don't want that) 💁♀️ You can avoid these calls, but if you get help from them, please don't fall for the "tip" to turn on AAR (Auto Apply Recommendations). Here's what would happen within a few days of turning AAR on: - Your keyword list switches to Broad match entirely - This means more and more irrelevant search terms. - This also means that you spend more on clicks that are worthless to you. - Ideally, you should have a negative list in place to avoid that but do they advise you for it? No. - Display expansion is turned on. - Which means more than 30% of the budget goes to display - Bidding strategies are changed without your knowledge. - Assets that are automatically created by Google start showing up (that's not good). - Automatically adjusts your Target ROAS or Target CPA without your knowledge. I can go on, but you get it. Be wise. Ask a Marketer for help. #googleads #googlereps #business #owners #businessowners #aar #founders #marketing #digitalmarketing

If you’re starting out in google ads, start with a budget you're comfortable with without the expectations of getting leads right away. The first month is for testing which areas work best, and then optimise for conversion volume. Feel free to book a call via the link on my bio! #ppc #payperclick #googleads

ECPC or Enhanced CPC from Google was a whole new experience for Newcomers as marketers. ECPC in easy words was a Bidding Strategy where you could set your manual bidding but also leverage Google's smart bidding. Here;s More : Enhanced CPC (eCPC) was a bidding strategy in Google Ads that leveraged machine learning to optimize manual bids. By analyzing user signals, eCPC could automatically increase bids for clicks that are more likely to convert and decrease them for less promising ones. This helped advertisers get more conversions without manually adjusting bids for every auction. However, Google has decided to phase out eCPC, starting with new campaigns in October 2024 and completely discontinuing it by March 2025. This shift is driven by the development of more sophisticated bidding strategies like Maximize Conversions and Maximize Conversion Value, which rely on advanced machine learning to optimize for specific goals. While eCPC has been a valuable tool for many advertisers, Google believes these newer strategies can deliver even better results. This transition reflects Google's commitment to providing its advertisers with the most effective and efficient bidding solutions. From March 2025 Enhanced CPC will be completely gone.
