The "out of sight, out of mind" mindset exacerbates waste management problems. Like other states, Connecticut struggles with effective waste management and sustainability. To improve, Connecticut can: - Implement effective waste reduction and recycling programs - Educate residents on proper waste disposal and its environmental impact - Encourage businesses and industries to adopt sustainable practices - Develop infrastructure for efficient waste management - Enact policies promoting waste reduction and environmental stewardship By addressing waste management as a cultural issue, Connecticut can cultivate a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility, leading to a cleaner, healthier environment for its citizens.
