Today, Anthropic has released Claude Sonnet 3.5 with some features you'll likely find not only impressive but incredibly useful. Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 3.5 has introduced a feature called Artifacts. It's essentially an interactive preview window adjacent to the chat window that provides a collaborative workspace. What does that mean? No longer are you restricted to simple text generation back and forth. You can attach files and images for Claude to interpret and extrapolate. You can also request SVG images (Scalable Vector Graphics, basically web-friendly pictures), which can be put directly into code, or made into slideshows or presentations to your boss for Monday morning. 💥Anthropic’s Claude 3.5 Sonnet beats GPT-4o in most benchmarks💥 Anthropic has launched Claude 3.5 Sonnet, its mid-tier model that outperforms competitors and even surpasses Anthropic’s current top-tier Claude 3 Opus in various evaluations. Claude 3.5 Sonnet is now accessible for free on Claude.ai and the Claude iOS app, with higher rate limits for Claude Pro and Team plan subscribers. It’s also available through the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. The model is priced at $3 per million input tokens and $15 per million output tokens, featuring a 200K token context window. Anthropic claims that Claude 3.5 Sonnet “sets new industry benchmarks for graduate-level reasoning (GPQA), undergraduate-level knowledge (MMLU), and coding proficiency (HumanEval).” The model demonstrates enhanced capabilities in understanding nuance, humour, and complex instructions, while excelling at producing high-quality content with a natural tone. Operating at twice the speed of Claude 3 Opus, Claude 3.5 Sonnet is well-suited for complex tasks such as context-sensitive customer support and multi-step workflow orchestration. In an internal agentic coding evaluation, it solved 64% of problems, significantly outperforming Claude 3 Opus at 38%. The model also showcases improved vision capabilities, surpassing Claude 3 Opus on standard vision benchmarks. This advancement is particularly noticeable in tasks requiring visual reasoning, such as interpreting charts and graphs. 🛑 𝐈 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐆𝐏𝐓 🤯 Last week, I started experimenting with Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Anthropic's newest LLM model. I realized that OpenAI dropped the ball. Anthropic caught up and is the new cool kid. Here's what I've accomplished with Claude so far: 1. **Game Development**: 🎮   → Created a simple side-scrolling HTML5 game    → Check out this demo for an idea: https://lnkd.in/eW9MXZBq 2. **Recruitment Tasks**: 👥   → Rewrote job descriptions (much better than ChatGPT)   → Analysed intake meetings with hiring managers (better than ChatGPT) 3. **Data Analysis**: 📊   → Analysed survey data, extracted insights, and created matching graphs  (much easier than with ChatGPT) • Key Takeaway: Claude understands me better; it needs less prompting to get the desired result. Anthropic just launched their new Claude Sonnet 3.5 model, which is their midsize offering. Apparently, it outperforms their earlier, larger model called Opus and, on average, seems to beat OpenAI's GPT-4o model. Maybe this will put some pressure on OpenAI to release their next-generation model. If not, it appears Anthropic will soon follow up with a 3.5 version of their largest model, Opus, which looks like it should outperform GPT-4o by a considerable margin. This is the first model I've used that can actually rhyme in Swedish. The reason I encourage you to watch this is because they show how to create a side-scrolling game in HTML 5 in one minute: The best part is the promise from them to roll out this in a new collaborative way !!
