Rules, rules, rules. In the NDIS, there's a lot of them - including rules for how participants can spend their NDIS funding. Some people think plan managers make those rules, but that's a myth! The NDIA is the rule-maker, and at My Plan Manager, our team of experts supports our clients (and their providers) to understand how funds can and can't be spent. #MyPlanManager #MythBusted #NDIS

Improving the NDIS is an important and complex issue! Addressing the concerns of participants, making the system more efficient, and ensuring fair access to services are key challenges. We need to focus on transparency, reducing bureaucracy, and enhancing participant autonomy. The frustration with wait times is understandable however, streamlining the system, and improving consistency in responses from NDIS representatives will go a long way to address some of the core issues that many providers & participants are experiencing. Clear, efficient communication and timely service delivery are crucial for making the system more user-friendly and effective. These changes would have a significant positive impact on the lives of people relying on NDIS support & those who work to support them. We should consider advocating for more training for NDIS staff & simplifying the assessment processes as part the approach to easing the back log of claims. What specific changes or reforms to the NDIS do you think are most needed?
