It's Not Necessary To Be Able To Read Tea Leaves To Create A Culture That Attracts, Retains, and Promotes Your People But it is necessary to read, study, listen, seek external advice, engage with folks who have a pulse on the market and then act accordingly. As an example, a recent WSJ report - as well as a recent CNBC article - showed that more than 300K accountants and auditors have left their jobs in the past two years Additionally, a recent survey of over 1200 current and former accounting professionals found that the top reasons for people leaving are... ❌Indadequate pay ❌Limited opportunities for growth ❌Long hours While I'm not trivializing the work that would need to go into changing the culture, growth path, pay, and work-life balance issues at any firm, when the masses continue to scream the same message of frustration, it's incumbent on leaders to assess what they can do to set their businesses up for success. Continuing to do business the same old way with the same old processes and the same old mindset will continue to get you the same old results If you're 100% pleased with your firm's results surrounding Talent Acquisition Talent Retention, and Talent Branding, then continue to grease those wheels and enjoy your success On the other hand, if you're at all struggling with how to... ✅Find those hidden pearls of talent ✅Hold onto the talent you currently have, and ✅Tell your story better in a market that is full of noise, Then let's talk about how we can help you and your firm better navigate the choppy waters you've been tossed around in the last few tax seasons and begin to get back to focusing on what you do best and what you're passionate about - solving complex accounting challenges for your clients.
