I literally can’t remember meeting a founder where a completely cold email pitch ended up in $ within the next 6mths Founders have been conditioned to believe that speed and reach are worth more than the depth of engagement or health of your network. Founders - avoid this mistake when fundraising.💰 (this will save you time and effort) If your round is big enough (I wish I could give an amount but I don't want to make one up), you should negotiate with a lead investor. A lead will put a significant amount of capital into your startup and encourage other investors to follow, guide you in the process, set the terms for the round and offer your mentorship. Avoid having to negotiate with 40-50 investors at the time.
