As HR professionals, it’s essential that we not only support but actively drive the business forward. But how can we tell if we're truly aligned? Key Indicators of Alignment: Strategic Involvement: Is HR involved in strategic planning meetings? Being part of these discussions ensures that people management strategies reflect and support business objectives. Metrics that Matter: Are the metrics you track directly linked to business outcomes? Whether it's turnover rates in key roles or time-to-hire, your KPIs should connect directly to the company's performance and goals. Feedback Loops: Does HR receive direct feedback from other departments about the effectiveness of HR initiatives? This feedback is vital for ensuring that HR practices are not only appreciated but also impactful. Proactive Leadership: Are HR leaders proactive about suggesting innovative ways to solve business problems?
