What’s the secret ingredient that makes a Sales Meeting truly unforgettable? 🔥 For me, it’s the energy of having colleagues from around the globe - Japan, Thailand, China, and the USA - all in one room. Last week’s Sales Meeting was a perfect example of that synergy in action. 🌍 We had the pleasure of introducing our new international Sales Lead and CSO, Melanie Schmidt. She’s set to lead our next Sales Meeting later this year, and we’re thrilled to have her on board! 🙌 A huge shoutout to Michael Steinberg for hosting his final meeting - your leadership has been invaluable. 🎉 Another milestone worth celebrating: the successful global rollout of Salesforce across all branches. It’s a game-changer for our collaboration, and now we’re diving into the refinement phase. Major kudos to everyone who made this happen! 👏 From thought-provoking sessions on Market Research, Marketing, and Product Management to exciting Development updates, the meeting was packed with value. And let’s not forget the camaraderie during the company run, whether you were hitting the pavement or cheering from the sidelines. We wrapped it all up with a lively evening at Berlin’s Hofbräuhaus. (And yes, some of us put our German skills to the test - “Ein Bier, bitte”’) 🍻 What I love most about these meetings: - Laser focus: Every discussion pushes us forward. - Open culture: We don’t shy away from mistakes; we learn from them together. - ONETeam spirit: The growth and unity of the team are incredibly motivating. These two days were truly energizing! I’m already counting down to the next Sales Meeting and excited to see what we’ll accomplish next. How does your team keep the momentum going after a big event? Let’s hear it in the comments! 👇

Last week, we attended the Sales Kenes event. I like to give things a little time to settle before sharing thoughts, but there's one insight that really stood out for me: Pipeline or Pipedream. Orly Magar’s perspective was both simple and profound. As salespeople, we all know managing a sustainable pipeline is the core of our day-to-day, and it isn't always an easy task—any sales rep can tell you that. But building a pipeline that reflects reality, one you can be accountable for and stand behind, is the real challenge. It requires being realistic, self-critical, and focused on results. Having faith in your pipeline is important, but the key to success lies in daily validation and data-driven assessment. It’s about prioritizing and fulfilling your pipeline, not feeding a pipedream. Thank you, Orly Mager, for the valuable insight, and a big thank you to all the speakers and organizers for a great event. And here’s a shout-out to my enterprise sales team who rocked it at the event—Salut! Last week, we had our first Sales and Marketing Summit in years… and I’ve been reflecting on it! It was successful beyond my wildest dreams 🏆 Our business and industry is rapidly changing; office products and furniture? It’s hard stuff to navigate and can be rewarding if everyone digs in. We are getting ready for a big NeoCon and a Re-imagined, Re-energized and Re-defined Safco Products so my primary goal was to get team members fired up and part of the change. What we got was so much more: relationships, connections, trust building, feedback and learning, inclusion, transparency, and a business that is ready to take on building our future, together. Thank you friends. My heart is full with the care all are bringing to our work and team mates. Let’s go! We got this! Top reflections: 1. Get the team together, don’t wait. Nothing replaces being together. 2. Sales people teaching other sales people and cross functional teams listening is so powerful! 3. Bring in experts - from the industry and from outside industry drives broader perspectives and discussion that is so rich. 4. Listen. Learn. Repeat. 5. Be real and plan time for discussion. And breaks. 6. Details matter. Have a team effort for planning and content creation. Makes a better meeting and side effect is buy-in. 7. When in doubt, include vs exclude. 8. Ensure everyone leaves having a plan. 9. Plan for continued connection post meeting.
