Event marketing KPIs?? Help me out... 🤷♀️ After attending the B2B marketing Expo yesterday and having some discussions with other attendees, the marketers attending the show seem to be there more for the keynotes than the exhibitors. I don't find that surprising but it got me thinking. I understand there are still many sales opportunities at expos like this, my presumption is that it is mostly from pre-booked meetings (though I could be wrong!) - my question is if you booked a stand at a B2B event - what are you measuring (and why), or is it purely brand and enagagement?

Day one of the B2B Marketing Expo complete 🙌! Behind the bright colours and branded Skout LED keyrings, the team has worked hard to make this happen. Artwork, PPT slides, ordering merch, drafting blogs, social media posts, booking travel and accommodation, prep for our speaking slot (day two), carrying heavy boxes back and forth,... the list goes on. Really interesting #DigitalMarketing for B2B event today - wonderfully hosted by Skip Fidura, FIDM and put together on by Neil Argent (lovely to meet you after so long Neil). The format of short presentations followed by small round tables felt like a great combination of listening, learning and sharing. I can thoroughly recommend The Electric Cinema at White City as a venue for c 40 people events. Digital technologies and techniques enable fresh thinking, innovative campaigns and detailed measurement, but the underlying marketing principles remain - people, communications, stories, brands, emotional connections. And marketing’s role in growing businesses.
