What are some leadership principles you find valuable? Here are six of our go-to's: 1// The inner game drives the outer game. 2// “Clear is kind. Unclear is unkind.”- Brene Brown 3// Go slow to go fast. 4// Less but better. 5// It’s a partnership, not a performance. 6// Seek first to understand and then to be understood. Julian Shapiro’s Blog Post “Memorized Rules: How to give your life direction” discusses choosing the Starting Principles that would be most helpful to you. We’ll link it in the comments. #principles #advice #leadershipadvice

No, not a new leadership theory. At least not as such. Instead our latest blog. We do a lot of work around developing a Growth Mindset, and part of that is learning and spotting opportunities to learn. As slightly geeky, but avid readers and film fans, it can be hard to not read and watch without wondering what different leadership is being displayed. We've posted on LinkedIn in more depth on a few of these fictional leaders. But today we bring you our latest blog. Please do take a look and see if you agree with our take on characters as broad as Elizabeth Bennet and Darth Vadar, and Michael Scott and Harry Potter. Perhaps also consider what is your story as a leader, who do you want to be, and what is the journey you are on. We are all the main characters in our own stories. #learning #growth mindset #leadership #fiction

Imagine this: - You are a leader, constantly putting out fires. - Your phone rings during family dinner. - You miss your child’s school annual day because there is always one more issue to fix. Why does this happen? --> Because you haven’t built a team that can run without you. But picture this instead: + You have trained your team to think for themselves. + They don’t need you for every small decision. + Now, you all can take a weekend off, watch a movie with your family, and still deliver. Leadership isn’t about doing everything. It’s about building trust. Empowering others to step up. Giving yourself the freedom to lead without burning out. This is how you shatter limits. Not by running faster, but by running smarter. Are you ready to build a team that works without you? ♻️ Repost this if you liked it 🔔 Follow Ramkumar R for more insights. #ramsabode #coaching #shatterlimits

How to Shorten a Line Without Rubbing It: A Lesson in Leadership & Growth. There’s an old story that offers a profound lesson in problem-solving and perspective: A teacher drew a long line on the board and asked the class, “How can you shorten this line without rubbing or erasing it?” The students were puzzled. Some suggested folding the board, others proposed creative but impractical solutions. Then, one student confidently walked up to the board, picked up the chalk, and drew a longer line beside the first one. The original line now looked shorter, without a single touch. What Does This Teach Us? In life and work, we often face situations where competing, criticizing, or “rubbing out” someone else’s achievements feels like the easiest way to get ahead. But the smarter and more sustainable approach is to focus on growing your own strengths: As a leader, inspire others by setting higher standards and pushing the team to excel rather than cutting others down. So the next time you’re faced with competition, ask yourself: How can I draw a longer line? #Leadership #Growth #Mindset #Corporate

Comparison... It can be a real showstopper. And not in a good way. Don’t compare yourself to others. You’re only seeing the bright side that they are choosing to show, especially on social media. Sure, some leaders share their failures and missteps. But not many. The majority of what we see out there is only the good stuff. Admire others. Learn from them. But don’t compare. Ultimately, your leadership style and approach needs to be your own. Own it. #leadership #comparison More here 👇🏼 https://lnkd.in/eNCANV9Y

Such good points. Dr. Anmika Mayur. So many times fear keeps us from taking needed next steps ahead. It's only until we step forward that we see (and experience what exists- which allows us to confirm or deny if the fear we had was even real or not). With each step forward we have the ability to learn lessons that can make us, the companies and teams we lead, even our relationships in our personal lives better. We are all leaders in one capacity or another-some have more positions of leadership than others, but the principle remains the same. When we take a risk and step outside of our comfort zone, fear has less of a grip on us, and we increase our capacity for learning and potentially success. Leadership is about continuing to hone your ability to learn, adapt, and grow, and that makes life much more meaningful. #leadership #womeninleadership #management #ceo #fearnomore #riskmanagment #growing #lifelessons #mentalhealthawareness #women #organizations #mwbe

Power of Trying: A Leadership Lesson In leadership, growth comes from taking that first step, no matter how uncertain it feels. Imagine a blank sheet with an empty box symbolizing untapped potential. If you never try, that box remains empty, representing missed opportunities and stagnation. However, when you dare to take the leap, the journey might be filled with challenges and crossed-out boxes, but eventually, you'll reach that final box with a tick, symbolizing success and progress. This visual metaphor perfectly captures the essence of growth and the impact of proactive leadership.
