Dreams are worth fighting for. After 5 rounds of IVF and 30 hours of labor, we finally welcomed our son, Charlie Brooks Hoffman, into the world on 12/10/24. He’s already filled our lives with more joy than I ever imagined, and he’s given me a renewed sense of purpose and motivation. This journey wasn’t easy—far from it. Watching my wife navigate the ups and downs of our fertility challenges with such incredible strength and grace has shown me, beyond a doubt, that choosing the right partner is the most important decision you’ll ever make. Life is unpredictable, but I’d rather embrace the chaos, keep pushing forward, and live fully than ever sit on the sidelines. Here’s to this next chapter with my family. I couldn’t be more excited.
Congrats Michael, what a blessing. Also that book makes me cry… I have visceral early childhood memories of my mom reading it to me, and when I first read it to my own son i couldn’t contain myself reflecting on the cycle of life, my own parents’ sacrifices for me, and the honor it is to continue to chain… Soak it in ❤️

Congrats to you and your wife Michael! I hope you get plenty of time for paternity. Postpartum is no joke. Having a kid truly changes everything - outlook, priorities, goals etc. Couldn’t agree more about your partner. My wife and I always say, especially when things are difficult: “I wouldn’t want to have to figure this out with anyone else.”
