As I have reflected, I've thought a lot about the very first direct hire position that I ever filled. This was back in 2000 that dates me, and I had a brand new client that needed an IT professional. I didn't know what the job was. I didn't know what the title meant. I didn't even know how to interview candidates to make sure they could do the job. And so I had to really learn to dig in, ask a ton of questions, research, and then also I had to learn how to communicate with my client. And explain why I thought my candidates were a good fit for the position and at the end of the day I filled the position. It was so exciting. It was so rewarding. I think that's what really tipped me into being so happy in this career, knowing I can do this. I can fill these positions, I can learn what these professionals are doing and make these exciting, wonderful matches. So, yeah, so that one might be my favorite one, the very first direct hire position I ever filled in this career, which led me into such a fulfilling, wonderful, lifelong journey in the staffing industry.
