We are proud to announce that our CEO, Christofer Catania, is again supporting the Vinnies CEO Sleepout. Taking place on the 20th of June this initiative raises awareness and funds for individuals experiencing homelessness. This year marks Chris’ fifth participation, highlighting his ongoing commitment to positively impacting our community. The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is more than just a fundraising event; it’s a powerful experience that allows business leaders to understand the hardships faced by those without a place to call home. By spending a night sleeping rough, participants like Chris gain firsthand insight into the daily struggles of the homeless, fostering greater empathy and a stronger resolve to drive change. Chris’ participation is a testament to his dedication to social responsibility and reflects the core values of MEC. At MEC, we believe in making a difference not just within the corporate world, but also within our communities. Chris’ example inspires our entire team to engage in philanthropic endeavours and support initiatives that create meaningful, positive impacts. We invite you to join us in supporting Chris and this worthy cause. Your donations will provide essential support and resources to those in need. Whether through a financial contribution or by spreading the word, every action helps make a difference. Together, we can provide much-needed support and resources to those in need. Let’s work together to address homelessness and make a lasting impact on our community. 🌟Myth: Donating to Homelessness Charities Doesn’t Make a Difference 🌟Reality: Every contribution counts. Your support helps us provide vital identification documents that open doors to housing, employment, and a fresh start for those in need. Without these essential IDs, many individuals remain stuck in a cycle of homelessness, unable to access the services that can change their lives. In fact, just $12 gets a state ID in the hands of someone looking to end their homelessness! At Homeless ID Project, we see the impact of every donation firsthand. Each dollar goes toward helping someone take that critical first step toward stability and independence. Want to make a difference? Your donation can help us continue this life-changing work. Donate Today: HIDP.org and click ‘Donate’ or text hidp to 44321. Let’s work together to give everyone the opportunity for a fresh start. ❤️ #EndHomelessness #HomelessIDProject #EveryDonationCounts #SupportChange #MakeADifference

YOU CAN HELP! For 325 days (and Counting) I've raised the alarm that youth 10 to 19 have no emergency #safe housing anywhere in Ocean or Monmouth County, NJ. CLCL Foundation has innovative solutions to address and end youth homelessness, plus supports for families, caregivers, and resource parents. As a former foster and adopted youth and teen runaway, I know how powerful interventions can be in creating better outcomes. You can help BE THE CHANGE by donating to the registered 501(c)(3), Choose love. Celebrate life. A Foundation for Youth and Families, Inc. Or joining the CLCL team to create evidence-based, trauma-informed, antiracist and inclusive programs. Only together can we have enough wisdom to do this is right way -- the better way. https://clclfoundation.org

Not sure where to donate this year? As someone who has experienced being temporarily un-housed and someone who works with those who are temporarily housed, may I suggest donating to Family Promise of Sussex County, NJ? I have worked directly with them and know that the donations go directly to help families. Thank you in advance for even reading this post from Chris Butto, Executive Director. ------------------------ Give the Gift of Home! Your commitment to helping individuals and families experiencing a housing crisis in our community is sincerely appreciated. Because of your and other donors' generosity and support, Sussex County saw a 33% decrease in homelessness from 2023 to 2024! Your contribution is part of an ongoing effort to make a lasting impact on our community. Although we've made significant progress, there is more work to be done: 1 in 3 individuals experiencing homelessness in Sussex County is a child under the age of 18. 1 in 5 un-sheltered individuals have been experiencing homelessness for over a year. 1 in 3 individuals experiencing homelessness reported having at least one disability. These statistics underscore the ongoing need for our work. Your contribution, big or small, is more than just a donation; it's a life-changing gift. Give the Gift of Home! Your generosity can make a monumental difference in the lives of struggling families. Imagine a mother who can tuck her children into their beds in a safe, warm home because of your donation. Envision one of our nation's heroes having a safe place to rest his head at night, all because of your support. Will you stand with us once again and renew your commitment to these families? Your donation is not just a gift; it's a promise of home, hope, and new beginnings. Thank you for your continued support and being a beacon of light in our community. Give the Gift of Home! With gratitude, Chris Butto Executive Director P.S. Remember, when you give, you're not just changing lives; you're setting an entire family on a path to a better, self-sufficient future. Your donation is their promise. Don't wait; donate today and join their journey to a brighter future. #donation #homelessness #unhoused https://lnkd.in/eNZQ-FNi

It’s #GivingTuesday!💕 Today, I ask your support in helping One Happy Mama raise $5,000 to create an emergency housing fund for the young mothers in our community. At One Happy Mama, we believe that every mother deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Unfortunately, housing instability is a major challenge for many young mothers. According to the National Low Income Housing Coalition, 1 in 4 households with children experience some form of housing insecurity. For these moms, a lack of stable housing makes it even harder to break the cycle of poverty, focus on their goals, and care for their children. With your help, we can ensure these mothers have access to the support they need during times of crisis. One Happy Mama is a community-driven organization, and it’s because of YOUR support that we can continue to make a lasting impact in the lives of the families we serve. Please consider donating today and be a part of this mission to help moms stay grounded and thrive. 💕 https://lnkd.in/gTQUKGBk #onehappymama #SupportMoms #CommunityCare #HousingForAll #momnonprofit #nonprofitsformoms
