Lenora’s Story: Faith and Resilience Lenora has a heart of gold and a spirit that refuses to break, despite enduring more hardships than most. Earlier this year, she was working hard to rebuild her life in a sober living facility when it suddenly shut down, leaving her homeless with no warning. To make matters worse, her vital documents were stolen while she slept on the streets. Thanks to her unwavering faith, Lenora is finding strength to push forward. “It’s hard to have faith when you live like I have to, but it’s the only way to survive,” she says. ⛪ The Homeless ID Project is helping Lenora obtain a new ID, so she can order her birth certificate and take the first steps toward stable housing. 🌟 Client Success Story: Bridgett's New Beginning 🌟 Meet Bridgett! She came to us for a replacement ID so she could start her new job at a manufactured stone company and move closer to securing housing. Currently staying in a sober living home, Bridgett is working hard to create a safe place where her kids can visit while she works with her caseworker on reunification. Her goals are simple but impactful: get her teeth fixed (she will be making her way to Brighter Way Institute) and then to become a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to help teens battling addiction. 💪✨ Bridgett's resilience shines through—she knows that giving up is not an option.
