Not sure this is a freelancer exclusive thing Matt unfortunately. We've experience a big increase in this behaviour and I'm hearing and reading it's become endemic as part of doing business for everyone in the sector. 😞

Yup. Or it gets to the proposal stage THEN they ghost you. Why is this normalised?

I've been more fortunate lately, but then I think that's because I've mostly been working repeatedly with the same clients. But on the whole, it does seem to be a problem across the whole industry. And a very rude one at that!
