Can't emphasize enough how important that is. 2️⃣ A focus on middle and lower-funnel conversions, considering people who click on Book a Demo as a conversion, Meeting Bookings, and Form Fill ups as conversions. This helped the Ads algorithm collect data and also push for lower funnel conversions simultaneously. 3️⃣ Previously the account was running Dynamic search ads which didn't make much business sense and CPA was astronomical. The sheer number of 'bro' marketers telling lies about revenue, agency size and growth is out of control. I recently spoke to one of 'the full time staff' of a 'Fagency'. They were a struggling freelancer. Yet, displayed the company banner on their socials and put 'full time'. They told me that "there was no leadership, they just got the clients through their social presence and past them to me to do all the work". 'Fagency' seems like a good word to describe them. Part Fake agency, part Fagin characters. The worst part, social media indulges this. "We're an 80 person agency". "We're gazillion million ARR". No, you're not. A tiny bit of research shows you're hustling for clients under the guise of fully remote with next to no cash. This is 'fake it until you make it 101'. Some might say "but there's no harm in it". That is until they get hired and wreck business websites or reputations...often both. Remote work has a lot of benefits, but it's definitely enabled a surge of wantrepreneurs giving bad advice through completely faked positioning.

In the corner of a conference hall, a keynote speaker was delivering a masterclass on advanced SEO techniques. His slides were expertly crafted and filled with information on setting up rank monitoring, speed testing and identifying crawl errors with GSC Coverage Report. And that room was packed. Everyone was busy taking notes! In another nearby room, a woman was giving a talk on the 5 ways to craft a compelling headline. Her room was also packed in spite of her simple tips. Then someone in her room said: "𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦. 𝘐'𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘤 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧." Like a friend that they can trust and most of all, find relatable. Those insights that you were hesitant to share? The strategies that you thought were common knowledge? Just put them out there because I guarantee you, you'll find someone who's never heard of it before. And your goal should always be to serve. To help. To see people grow. Fancy complex ideas are impressive. But the power to share and move people to action? That's what sparks real growth. And everyone, regardless of background, has the power to do just that. Marketing Cloud Growth is now available in EMEA with data residency to be in Frankfurt, Germany. Not yet available in the UK although it is good to see data residency will be in London for UK customers. This is helpful because there's a European GDPR and a UK GDPR which are similar, but different. #DataCloud #MarketingCloud #SalesforceEinstein

Trying to secure renewals when clients are wanting a reduction in costs and yet they're wanting more for their money. So as an agency margins are squeezed and therefore standards could be compromised. They know they need more people but the numbers don't add up. And yet very few agencies have a sales strategy or anyone responsible for new business. It baffles me every time. No business in any industry would survive without a sales strategy. Google won’t index websites that do not work on mobile devices after July 5th.... If your website is not accessible using a mobile device, then Google will no longer index it and rank it. We thought Google’s mobile-first indexing initiative, which started in 2016, was completed last October. But it won’t really be fully done until after July 5th. “The small set of sites we’ve still been crawling with desktop Googlebot will be crawled with mobile Googlebot after July 5, 2024,” John Mueller from Google wrote on the Google blog. Mueller explained: “The largest part of the web is already being crawled like this, and there is no change in crawling for these sites.” However, “after July 5, 2024, we’ll crawl and index these sites with only Googlebot Smartphone.” So if your site is not accessible using a mobile device, then Google “will no longer” index it and thus rank it. Mobile accessibility is required for Google indexing. Yes, Mueller wrote, “If your site’s content is not accessible at all with a mobile device, it will no longer be indexable.” This is a long time coming. Google has finally drawn a line in the sand for sites that simply do not render on mobile. This doesn’t mean Google won’t index your site if it isn’t mobile-friendly. What Google is saying is that if your site simply does not render or load on mobile devices, then Google won’t index it. If you have a desktop template only, it is fine, assuming the desktop version loads on a mobile device. Some desktop crawling to continue. Google said that Google still sometimes uses the Googlebot Desktop crawler for product listings and for Google for Jobs. This means you may still see Googlebot Desktop in your server logs and reporting tools. What to do.
