DON’T EDIT YOUR TYPOS Why? Because LinkedIn’s algorithm plays favourites. When you post, the algorithm watches how your audience reacts in real-time. Engagement in the first hour tells LinkedIn if your content is worth promoting further. Edit your post during this golden window, and it’s game over - the algorithm resets your visibility to zero. But typos happen. So here’s the trick: If you spot a mistake, leave it. Own it in the comments: "Typos are proof I’m human." Remember, the impact of an unedited post far outweighs the risk of losing reach because of an edit. Perfection? Overrated. Results? Essential.

Your posts are drowning in a sea of content? Change your posting time. Here’s why it matters: When you post, the algorithm is watching. If people don’t engage right away, it assumes the post isn’t valuable. But when your audience reacts and engages immediately? The algorithm takes note: “This is good! Let's push it to more people.” You don’t need luck, just strategy. Post when your community is active, and the algorithm will work with you, not against you. Your timing can either boost or bury your content. P.S. and it's kinda boring too when nobody is around!

"When's the best time to post?" Seriously, it's a question that haunts me I get asked it so often. And yet it's probably the least important question most people I talk to should be asking! Deciding what time to post is a point of procrastination when you're not already posting regularly. Sure, there's a ton of content out there suggesting best days and windows and back a few years ago it was important. Today, not so much. The algorithms aren't feeding us content based on a time stamp. They're feeding us based on our appetites! Our interests, the things we click and engage in. So stop using the fact it isn't the perfect time to post as an excuse not to post. Get the content out there and work out what's landing with your audience instead. #SocialMediaMarketing #ContentMarketing

Here’s the little-known secret to beating LikedIn’s algorithm. 👇 Ignore it. Sure, the algorithm can help you appear in the feed, expand your reach, and increase your engagement, but… Know what else does: - Posting relevant content - Engaging with others - Building a network Pursuing the algorithm helps you get found by strangers (not necessarily your audience). Putting in the work, on the other hand, helps you build relationships, community, and your audience. Too many people are hung up on chasing algorithms. But the best algorithm of all time is to publish content that resonates with your community. Do that, and they will find you.

In a recent live with Avi Gandhi, we talked about a platform hidden in plain sight that creators and marketers are sleeping on: email ✉ . Is it the year 2,000? Hear us out. As creators continue to diversify their platform strategies, they need to think outside the traditional platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and *own* their audience. In reality, those platforms could turn off their services tomorrow, adjust the algorithm, and you're out of luck. However, learning how to drive your subscribers to an email list, nurture, and provide them with content gives you direct access to them at all times. You now own your audience. This strategy mitigates that risk but also lets you game the algorithm a bit. For example, post a video, tell your subscribers about it via email, they click on it, and the platform will boost it even further as they see people are engaged with that content. This is a fairly minimal effort strategy that can not only protect what you have built, but help you amplify it. Do you agree? Thoughts? HMU. (Sorry the audio is a bit off... blame the wifi hehe)

"If that's true, what qualifies as a conversion?" Conversions can be: - Clicking through to a blog - Subscribing to your newsletter - Downloading a freebie - Starting a conversation (DMing, filling out a form, etc.) - Sharing, Liking, etc. It's anything that takes your passive observer into an active participant. If your people aren't already converting, we may need to ask some additional questions... Be sure to follow and connect for what determines whether your audience converts or not!

Craft compelling calls-to-action (CTAs) that clearly communicate what you want your audience to do next, whether it's making a purchase, subscribing to a newsletter, or contacting you for more information. Use action-oriented language and make the CTA prominent to encourage engagement and drive conversions.

Your path to 6-figures is a simple one. (I said simple, not easy) You just need 2 things: 1. Content for your audience. 2. Profile for your audience. Notice the keyword? “Audience” If you're making content that: - Your audience relates to - Your audience learns from → They'll click your profile. If your profile shows: - What you do - Who you do it for - Why you're the right person → They'll be willing to buy from you. It's not rocket-science. It's solving problems. P.S. The science to going viral.mp4 The algorithm measures 4 metrics Watch time, engagement rate, save rate, and share rate, all as a percentage Watch time indicates how interesting your video is, but recently, the 1 second videos have been popping off uncontrollably - To stop this, Instagram now places heavy emphasis on engagement rate and share rate. The more people that share your videos, engage, or save it: the more valuable your video is. Value can be novelty, education information, or inspiration. Keep this in mind when you create content, and make sure to save this video if you found some quick value from it
