When you're handed a pre-built Marketing strategy, kick the tires first! We've all inherited marketing campaigns and strategies from others before. Maybe you're taking over for someone who left. Maybe an agency ran something and is handing it off. Before fully adopting and continuing what's in place, it's worth asking yourself a few questions to make sure it's truly aligned with your current goals: ➡️ Does this effort truly align with our overall business objectives and value prop as it stands today? ➡️ How well are the buyer personas and journeys mapped? ➡️ What unique angles or differentiators is this strategy truly driving home? ➡️ What data/metrics define success here, and do they still measure what matters most? ➡️ Does this create a cohesive experience across all current channels and touchpoints? ➡️ Can you realistically keep scaling/producing at the required operational output level? ➡️ How adaptable are the concepts/frameworks to inevitable future pivots? ➡️ Do you have the necessary budget and resources allocated? ➡️ What new channels or engagement models does it leverage leverage that our competitors may be overlooking? ➡️ What potential risks/failure points does it have, and are contingencies outlined? Take a beat to analyze whether it checks all the critical boxes for your current reality. What are some additional questions you find invaluable when evaluating an existing marketing strategy? Marketing doesn't work on autopilot. Now more than ever, you have to ask yourself: How does marketing actually work for my brand today? With tech, consumer behavior, and market dynamics always changing at rapid speeds, clinging to outdated frameworks splinters teams and stunts growth. Moving forward, the priority needs to be aligning every strategy—brand, performance, creative, and media—into a dynamic, unified, data-driven plan that evolves continuously. #Marketing #BrandBuilding #Branding

This article prompted me to think about why marketing is overlooked by so many businesses even today. And I think it's because marketing for many, has been reduced to just ads and sales leads. Marketing as it was intended, in its truest, most glorious form is the art of strategy, branding and creative, communicating, and promoting offerings that deliver value to your audience. The world is flush with innovative products, services, and technologies. What businesses need is a strategy and a story to bring these innovations to market, captivate viewers, and transform them into loyal customers. Much more than just tactical ads and leads and why many businesses miss the mark. Innovation alone cannot sustain a company; you have to communicate how this innovation helps the customer and this can only be done through a unique strategy, strong brand narrative and even stronger marketing. #marketing #strategy #storytelling #branding #usp

What people think being a strategic marketer means: -Designing pretty slides -Knowing a bunch of frameworks -Saying stuff like "synergy" What it actually means: -Analyzing situations -Identifying opportunities -Aligning them with company goals -Prioritizing what'll move the needle Being a strategic marketer means you're not just checking tasks and projects off a massive to-do list. (Though there's, of course, a fair share of that.) Instead, you're questioning whether those are the right things to have on your to-do list to begin with. Strategic marketers spend less time asking 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 and more time asking 𝘄𝗵𝘆. #marketingstrategy #marketing

FAQ: How can I measure the success of my ad campaigns? It’s a question I get all the time, and the answer is simple: Track the right metrics—the ones that truly reflect your goals. Here are 5 key metrics to measure success: ➡Engagement Rate: How many likes, comments, and shares are you getting? Engagement is king because it shows how much people care about your content. ➡Reach & Impressions: How many people saw your post? More eyes on your content means more opportunities to grow your brand. ➡Click-Through Rate (CTR): Are people clicking your links? A high CTR shows your content is compelling and drives action. ➡Conversion Rate: Engagement is great, but are you driving sales or leads? Conversions are what ultimately move the needle. ➡ROI: Calculate your return on investment. Did your campaign deliver results that justify your time and money? ⦿Bonus Tip: Focus on the metrics that align with your goals—engagement for brand awareness, conversions for sales. Measuring success isn’t about vanity metrics—it’s about tracking what truly drives growth.
