I get asked all the time, “How do you do so much?” Or I hear jokes like, “You must not sleep!” Here’s the truth: I do sleep—a lot. Like a lot a lot. I also make time for the things that matter most to me, like being with the people I care about, watching movies, traveling, and simply unplugging. These aren’t afterthoughts or luxuries, they’re my priorities. The real secret to “doing so much” isn’t some superhuman ability. It’s the incredible people I’m fortunate to be surrounded by. I’m just the face of the work. Every project, initiative, or accomplishment you see is a team effort, made possible by talented, creative, and passionate people who bring their best every day. Whether it’s colleagues, clients, or friends, they are the engine behind everything that gets done. But let’s take a step back. Social media is tricky. What we see online often feels like a highlight reel—designed to brag, seek praise, or create a perception of success that isn’t entirely real. I get it; I’ve done it too. It’s hard not to feel like you need to “perform” here. But the reality is far messier. For every polished post, there are late nights, hard decisions, and a team of people sharing the load. That’s the truth we don’t always see, and we need to remind ourselves not to compare our behind-the-scenes to someone else’s curated moments. We also need to fight the hustle culture that drives this. We’ve been conditioned to believe that success is about constant productivity and grinding 24/7, but that’s not sustainable. We need a new vision of success—one rooted in longevity, collective support, and balance. For me, that means leaning on others, creating space to rest, and rejecting the myth that I have to do it all alone. So, to anyone feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to “keep up”: Don’t believe everything you see online. Real success is messy, shared, and often quiet. It’s about building a community that lifts each other up and creating a life that allows you to thrive, not just survive. I’m endlessly grateful for the people who make it possible for me to do what I do, and I’m committed to pushing back against the myths that hold us back. Here’s to balance, authenticity, and a future where we all have the support and space to thrive. As we wrap up the year, I will be sharing more in the Blue Sky Partners Forecast this month, but it is essential for us to remember to rest and sing the praise of the brilliant people around us. To that end, I want to specifically share my appreciation to Jeannie Swink, Audrey Sherman, LMSW, Amber Cardwell, Timothy Seaton, Jordan Goodrich, Emma Cravey, Naida Ortega, and so many more.
Love these words so much!!! Thank you for sharing + thanks for how you show up. It’s all joy to work with you, my friend!

2wVery well said!! This is why I travel so much. It helps me work at my peak when I am working. High interval training isn't just for athletics.
