Coaching is always on my mind. October was a month of growth, connection, and deep dives into the coaching community. I invested time learning alongside fellow coaches across Texas as we all gathered at the Texas Conference for Women’s Coaches Corner. From San Antonio to North Texas, each conversation sparked insights, and I’m walking away with three big takeaways: 1. Coaching Specialties: Our field is filled with specialized paths beyond leadership—mindfulness, health, DEI, AI, agile, and so much more. It’s incredible to see the range of expertise available. If you’re looking for a specific coaching niche, reach out—I likely know someone in that area! 2. ICF Core Competency – Maintain Presence: In a room of seasoned pros, I was reminded of the power of presence. Watching expert coaches stay focused, observe without judgment, and listen deeply is inspiring. Presence is a skill everyone can build—how do you stay present in your conversations? 3. Resources and Tools: From client tools to business systems, I picked up new resources to enhance my practice and help clients work more effectively.
