One of the most difficult lessons for me to learn as a leader is that there's more than one way to get to your destination. And that's what makes it so hard to decide on which activities you need to focus on as a leader. A true apology isn’t just saying “sorry.” It’s owning the mistake, sharing what you’ve learned, and committing not to repeat it. #LionsGuideAcademy #Sorry #Leadership #LionsGuide

It’s perfectly human to make mistakes. This is where leaders have a big opportunity to make up lost trust capital. Don’t hide the fact that you made a mistake. Disclose it to your team along with what you learned from it. Not only does it preserve trust, but also promotes a growth culture on the team. Although they don’t always feel great when they happen, we learn and grow from the mistakes we make. Setting the example is one of the strongest forms of leadership. This level of relatability (your perfectly human like the rest of us), sets the example to allow your team to do the same. The world is starving for good leaders—be one. #leadership
