However, new research has highlighted the challenges these developments face. Bigger projects come with more paperwork. For example, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧; 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝟖. This increase in paperwork creates huge delays, 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞.
