The longer I work in marketing operations and the more messes I've cleaned up, the more I'm convinced that there is no such thing as a "self managed" marketing technology tool. Even if a tool is simple to manage day-to-day, someone needs to be responsible for the data strategy, integration strategy, change management, etc between all of the marketing technology tools. Ideally, multiple people if you have a marketing technology stack of more than 5 vendors. Same goes for revenue operations and GTM stack tools. Do you agree?
