In this FreightWaves interview, Troy Ryley of Echo Global Logistics, addresses that no matter what you do to prevent cargo theft in Mexico, whether that's becoming CTPAT, using only CTPAT certified partners, moving freight in convoys, using armed pilots, leveraging in-cab, in-pallet, and/or on-trailer telematics with rapid response planning from police and/or private investigators......"the bad guys will always have bigger guns and jammers." That sure is unfortunate, but its real and Troy shares here that the only real solution is to have a Borderless Coverage program in place offering All Risk Cargo Insurance in Mexico that is Inclusive of theft.
