Your medical practice’s success is built on the people you choose to work with. From hiring the right professionals who align with your values to fostering a positive workplace culture, every step is crucial. I have worked with hundreds of medical practices, and for each of them, choosing the right people plays an important role in building a successful business. That is why at You Legal we always say that the people who work in your business are an asset. Here are four critical elements that can make all the difference: 1. Hiring Practices: The first step in building your team is identifying the roles that are critical to your practice's operations. In the interview process, consider using behavioural interview techniques to gauge how potential hires might handle real-world scenarios they will face in your practice. 2. Contracts and Agreements: Consider how you wish to engage your doctors and staff and develop clear and comprehensive employment contracts and/or service agreements to establish expectations and protect both the practice and its employees and contractors. 3. Fostering a Positive Culture: Building a team is not just about filling positions; encourage open communication, provide opportunities for professional development, and recognise and reward achievements. 4. Dealing with Challenges: Despite careful planning, team-building can come with challenges, there may be conflict among staff or performance issues. Address these promptly and constructively, with a focus on finding solutions and learning opportunities. #MedicalPracticeSuccess #TeamBuilding #HiringPractices #WorkplaceCulture #EmployeeEngagement #HealthcareLeadership #MedicalProfessionals #HealthcareManagement #EmployeeContracts #HealthPracticeGrowth

There are many reasons you may not need to use a third party to help with your recruitment as a veterinary practice owner: - if you have a pile of speculative applications landing through your door - if you have a network of thousands that you can tap into to share your opportunity - if you have a large team of ambassadors who are out there singing your praises - if you know what your competitors are paying, or what the current market demands - if you have a good understanding of employment law - if you're a wordsmith and can compile a compelling job advert - if you have time If you don't have these things, you may wish to consider professional assistance. But yes, we charge for our time, experience, knowledge and network. Because we are professionals. Offering a professional service. Many of us do a great job. Some of us don't. Sometimes this is intentional, sometimes we just get it wrong. But to single us (recruitment businesses in general) out as a cause of mass redundancies and spiralling client costs is just not fair. So to my recruitment colleagues across the sector who are doing their bit to make a difference where they can, I take offence on your behalf. Looks like we've got some work to do to stop the haters. And to those who really don't like us, what can we do to change your mind?

I'm hiring one Advocate with a PQE of 0 to 3 years for GSK Associates, Advocates on a full-time association basis. The interviewee must be aware of Dishonour of Cheque provisions, Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Transfer of Property Act, 1882, Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, IPC, and the procedural laws as applicable to the State of Telangana as I have ongoing cases/expected cases pertaining to these Acts. The interviewee must be a law graduate (NLU or Non-NLU), and should have enrolled with a State Bar Council as an Advocate and should be willing to appear for the AIBE and endeavour to pass it or should have already passed the AIBE. The interviewee must also possess a computer resource (laptop) with licensed softwares and the said computer resource (laptop) must not be used for any unlawful or illegal purposes. The consideration will be 25% of any fees received by GSK Associates, Advocates (including consultation charges) in new matters. Those interested may email their Curriculum Vitae or résumé to [email protected] N.B.: Those who are locals and enrolled with the State Bar Council of Telangana are preferred. This is due to the knowledge of the local language requirements and also for non-locals their overheads such as rent, commute, etc., would be a factor which may make this opportunity not mutually viable.
