ARE YOUR MORNING THOUGHTS NEGATIVE? Do you struggle with getting out of bed? You're not alone! In this episode, I will teach you about morning thoughts and how to go from destructive overwhelming thoughts and behaviors to more productive thoughts and results. Our brains have about 50,000 thoughts a day, and 70-80% are negative when those thoughts are unmanaged and on autopilot. I know this to be true because the moment I wake up my negative thoughts start firing off! I always assumed the way that I felt in the morning had everything to do with my depression. It was 100% to blame and not me or my thinking. Learn in detail the 4 steps to go from overwhelm and lack of motivation in the morning to a lighter more productive morning. Step 1 - Create awareness Step 2 - Start with the end in mind - what outcome do you want? Step 3 - Anticipate morning obstacles and how to avoid them through planning Step 4 - Get deliberate and intentional Creating a new life is done by deciding WHAT WE WANT and then practicing that reality cognitively until it has created the exact emotion or feeling we are looking for TO ACHIEVE OUR DESIRED RESULTS. Practice these 4 steps and you will notice your mornings will seem a little lighter and getting out of bed a little easier. You can have depression AND learn to wake up with more positive morning thoughts and results.
