Techweek is fast approaching and we at Canterbury Tech are seeking out speakers with a message for our local community. Have you been thinking about a topic you feel others would also be interested in hearing about? Or do you want to run an interactive session that will help your audience with a common problem? This could be the ideal place to do that! Check out the links in the post below and sing out if you have any questions
📣 We're excited to announce that we're running another Canterbury Tech hub for Techweek this year called Tech Fest 2024! There are two ways to run an event in Techweek, May 20-26th: 1. You can run your own event at a venue of your choice - if so, please submit your event on the official TechWeek website here: https://lnkd.in/g4rU8Muq 2. If you would like to run your own event within Canterbury Tech Fest (located at Tūranga), you will need to fill out a speaker expression of interest. 📌 We have all the information on how to get involved with us for Tech Fest here: https://lnkd.in/gQWXC68w The Techweek24 festival is open to all. Whether you’re planning the launch of a new product, networking with potential investors, holding a hackathon or a family day — this diverse, open source festival is our chance to celebrate the world-first, world-class tech that's being created right here in New Zealand, for the world. We'll be announcing our full Tech Fest themed days later this week so stay tuned! #techweek2024 #canterburytech #christchurchnz Techweek NZ Louisa Taylor Séku Skandan ⚡️Andrew Masters Michelle Shirtcliffe Danielle Jones Patrick Keo Kahn Mitchell Rachael Tobeck Lisa Donning Matthew Steans ChristchurchNZ Te Ao Matihiko Tagata Moana Trust
