In recent years, the concept of neurodiversity has gained traction across various sectors, from education to business. Recognizing the unique ways in which individuals’ brains process information, neurodiversity embraces conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and more, not as deficits but as variations in cognitive function. This shift in perspective is reshaping executive coaching, fostering inclusivity, and unlocking untapped potential in leaders and teams alike. Three techniques to increase productivity and reduce stress, especially if you or someone you know has Asperger‘s/high functioning autism or ADHD. Whether you have thought about it or not, there is a high likelihood that at least one person in your organization marches to the beat of a different drummer, meaning they might be neurodivergent. Without citing the growing mountain of literature that shows that leaders who seek out and leverage this diversity create organizations that outperform those who do not, let me leave you with the comment that if you do not know who in your organization might be neurodivergent, at a minimum, you are doing them and your organization a disservice. To many NDs, remaining productive continuously and keeping a handle on their felt stress is far more challenging than it is for NTs, and worse, they are brilliant at masking it. The truth is - they should not have to. It's your job as a leader to create an environment where they do not. This post is simply another snapshot of how we can all contribute to creating the most diverse, inclusive, optimistic, and powerful teams and organizations possible. If you want help for yourself or your organization finding people's true potential and maybe leveling up their leadership or sales skills, reach out to us. We offer online programs, individual and team coaching, workshops, and event speaking. #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #personaldevelopment #mindset #communicationskills #productivity #neurodiversity #inclusion #leadershipstips #highfunctioningautism #ADHD #stressmanagement

Everyone seems to hate the "Superpower" metaphor for neurodiversity right now... because they don't understand the complexity of the metaphor... 1) it helps people understand they are the hero in their story 2) it helps people understand that everyone is capable of doing great things 3) It helps frame a narrative based on hope and possibility What the superhero narrative should not do 1) make people think life is easy... (superheroes often struggle even the overpowered ones) 2) have us underestimate our weaknesses... (kryptonite or achilles heal) 3) make us feel superior to others Everyone wants simplicity... life is complex. When I say I transform ADHD into a superpower it's because... 1) we put the work in to develop systems and habits 2) we look at your interests and strengths 3) we maximize our abilities... In my opinion, everyone has a unique potential. All people can do great things if they discover their purpose. That's what my coaching is all about. #coaching #leadership #ADHD

Summer Jelinek - Thank you for helping leaders understand how to become aware of what their workforce may be dealing with. Feedback can be a powerful tool, but it also has the potential to be damaging. Understanding the challenges your staff face can help build a more constructive and supportive relationship. #businessleadership #leadwithconfidence #feedback
International Keynote Speaker on Leadership. I work with Organizations that want to have inspired leaders, empowered employees, and extraordinary results.
Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) is a lesser-known but impactful aspect of ADHD that often goes unnoticed in the workplace. RSD refers to an extreme emotional response to perceived criticism, rejection, or failure, making everyday feedback feel deeply personal and overwhelming. For leaders, this means that when working with team members who have ADHD, it’s crucial to be mindful of how feedback is delivered. Create a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities for growth, not just points of criticism. Approach conversations with empathy, be specific in your feedback, and always acknowledge the strengths they bring to the table. This not only helps manage RSD but also empowers your team to thrive without fear of judgment! #thoughtleader #strategicthinking #professionalgrowth #careeradvancement #businessleadership
