Fairness in argument hinges on acknowledging multiple truths. The stance that control and active engagement lead to peace can be as valid as the belief in acceptance and letting go. It's about perspective and what works for the individual. What if owning your path is key? Then there's power in challenge. How to stay in charge in 3 steps: ➡️ Take control. It's your life, your rules. ➡️ Push back. Not all about "just let it go." ➡️ Keep your focus. What you can handle, do... In the end, it's not just about rolling with the punches. It can be about knowing when to dodge, when to punch back, and when it's cool to stand your ground. Peace may come from knowing you did what you could, the way you wanted to.

This is true. A former employer has refused to pay me for work. This doesn’t change who I am. I learned that money and work do not define me. I am leaning into letting things go that take up my space, energy and time, including former employers and people. Never stop being a good human. A songwriter once said "If nobody claps for you, you clap for yourself" Certainly, it's not every time you get to see people cheering you on. And No, I'm not saying people won't cheer for you. I just saying most times you may not get to see them until you've achieved what you've been chasing. Then you'd see things like: "I knew you could do it..." "I knew you had what it takes..." " You're amazing..." "I'm proud of you..." And even the occasional "That's my friend" "I know that girl" Yes, you know what I mean 😏 So what do you do when you don't see all these at the onset? 🤷🏽♀️ Well, it's not folding your arms, pausing that project because you're not motivated and it is certainly not throwing in the towel/giving up! No! 📌Rather, you do your best and give it your ALL, Look at the bigger picture 📌Go back to the drawing board/vision board 📌Think BIG. 📌 Sometimes imagining/painting a clear picture of your success. 📌Upskilling yourself and getting the right tools. But all in all remember that in everything you do, you will be the first recipient: Good or Bad! So, Be your motivator Be your cheerleader Be consistent❗ #selfmotivation #mentalhealth #writing

A calm mind brings inner strength and self-confidence. This is especially true when you can control your emotions and not be triggered by external factors. When you maintain your composure, you can navigate challenges more effectively, make better decisions, and maintain healthy relationships. Once you master the ability to stay calm, you’re not easily rattled by the cause of your stress, the problem at hand, or the person who pushes your buttons. This emotional resilience allows you to face difficult situations with a clear mind and a steady heart. However, it’s hard to achieve this without practicing mindfulness, meditation, deep breathing exercises and physical activity. In my experience, when faced with stress, I would remove myself from the environment or stay silent to let others speak. I may go for a walk to clear my head or step outside for some fresh air. These small actions help me think before I respond and eventually build the inner strength and self-confidence needed to think more clearly than before. Here are a few strategies to cultivate a calm mind: 1. Practice Mindfulness and Meditation: Regular mindfulness practices can help you stay present and reduce the impact of stressors. 2. Deep Breathing Exercises: Simple deep breathing techniques can instantly bring a sense of calm during tense moments. 3. Physical Activity: Regular exercise helps in releasing endorphins, which can enhance your mood and reduce stress. 4. Positive Self-Talk: Replacing negative thoughts with positive affirmations can strengthen your inner resolve. 5. Setting Boundaries: Knowing your limits and setting clear boundaries can prevent unnecessary stress and anxiety. By incorporating these practices into your daily routine, you can develop the inner strength and self-confidence needed to thrive in any situation. Remember, a calm mind is not a destination but a journey of continuous practice and self-awareness.

This powerful quote has been resonating with me lately, especially when it comes to mental health and personal growth. Life doesn't always go as planned—whether it’s in our careers, relationships, or personal well-being. We face setbacks, challenges, and detours that can make us feel like we're losing sight of our goals. But what’s key is resilience: it’s not the setback that defines us, but how we adapt and keep moving forward. When life doesn’t align with our expectations, it's okay to rework the plan. Change the approach, adjust your strategies, and pivot when necessary. But never lose sight of your ultimate goal—whether that’s emotional well-being, success, or growth. It’s okay to take a different path, as long as we keep our destination in mind. Let’s be kind to ourselves, be patient with the process, and always remember that it's okay to change the plan as long as we stay focused on our well-being. 🌱 #MentalHealthMatters #Resilience #GrowthMindset #SelfCare #WellBeing #MentalHealthAwareness
