At the close of 2023, a remarkable 77 GW of new utility-scale clean energy procurement deals were announced in in the U.S. – more than the combined totals of clean energy capacity of Texas and California. Throughout the first half of 2024, U.S. corporates continued to lead the way, building on key trends of the previous year: innovation in procurement, growth through partnership, and a focus on material impact. The momentum hasn’t slowed, with clean energy projects being unveiled throughout H1 2024. Stay tuned for CEBA's H1 2024 Deal Tracker update, where we’ll dive into the challenges faced and the promising opportunities that lie ahead for the remainder of the year.
