Data and AI governance company Atlan has raised $105 million in its Series C funding round led by GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, and Meritech Capital. Existing investors Salesforce Ventures and Peak XV Partners also participated in the round. As per sources, the company has been valued at around $750 million. This is a significant surge in its valuation from $450 million in the Series B round. Atlan allows large enterprise teams to collaborate smoothly on data projects, and create a single source for all their data assets with deep integrations with tools like Slack, and data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, and others. The company’s customer base includes Ingersoll Rand, Cisco, Autodesk, Unilever, Ralph Lauren, Fox Corporation, News Corp, Nasdaq, NextGen, Plaid, and HubSpot. Atlan claims that its revenues ballooned more than 7x in the last 2 years, with an 80% win rate in competitive trials and a 400% enterprise sales growth in Q1 2024. BIG UPDATE: Maciej Cielecki is stepping down as CEO of 10Clouds and Małgorzata Pietraszewska is our new CEO at 10Clouds! 👏 Here's the breakdown: - Małgorzata, previously our CCO, board member, and team member since 2017, is taking over leadership at 10C. - Maciej, our co-founder, is transitioning from his role as CEO of 10Clouds after a 15-year tenure. He will now lead a 10Clouds' product spin-off, focusing on the AIConsole project. Despite this change, Maciej will continue to guide 10Clouds in his capacity as chairman of the supervisory board, with a particular emphasis on overseeing the company's excellence in AI. - Michał Kłujszo, the other co-founder, continues to remain operationally involved. I could write about why I think Proofs is a big deal, why I had no hesitation in investing, and why we spent a lot of time with their team because we believed in the product from day 1. None of this would capture the value of this product. Instead I will just tell you how it helped us at Alokai (previously Vue Storefront). Right now, generating a custom PoC with a selected eCommerce vendor, selected CMS vendor, frontend customizations, content adjustment (AI-generated images for a given vertical), and look & feel adjustments (brand colors automatically taken from the prospects' website) takes around 5 minutes. Before, it took DAYS, and we never went that deep with its personalization because then our CAC would grow beyond being reasonable. Proofs not only allow us to cut our costs tremendously but also enable us to just make better and more personalized demos. I think Bartek Pucek and Zbigniew Sobiecki are really onto something that will change the game for the API-first products.

It's hard to believe it's been a whole year since we embarked on this incredible journey of building Datastride Analytics. I still remember the conversation me Sumalata Kamat Karthik Chandrashekar had about the plunge into the unknown. It was definitely scary and nothing could have prepared us for the journey ahead.   In this year, we have experienced more ups and downs than in the previous 25 years combined. We talked to many awesome people, gave multiple VC pitches, built the first version of Sia, participated in competitions and exhibitions, raised funds, grew our team, validated Sia by developing multiple use cases, and much more.   In this journey, I have felt exhilarated, angry, frustrated, sad, and joyful within a couple of hours; multiple times. Such has been my experience of entrepreneurship.    Today, I'm thrilled to share some exciting milestones: 1. Sia - MVP Launch: We've successfully brought our Minimum Viable Product to life, and the initial feedback has been phenomenal! 2. Team Growth: Our passionate team has grown to a mighty 11 individuals, each bringing their unique expertise to the table. 3. Going Global: We're setting our sights beyond borders and preparing to take Datastride international! 4.
