🎖️ The Netherlands comes in at #13 among the top global performing startup ecosystems – moving up from their 14th place in 2023. 💲The front runner remains Silicon Valley, jointly followed by New York and London. In terms of numbers, from July 2021 to December 2023 – the Dutch startup ecosystem produced a remarkable $96 billion, an impressive 32% increase from the previous period between July 2019 and December 2021. 📊But what sectors are the Netherlands thriving in? In the 2024 La French Tech 120/NEXT40 edition, HEC Paris stands out as the top business school for producing promising startups. 🚀 This year, 21% of the startups featured in #FT120 were founded or co-founded by an HEC Alumni. Out of the 120 selected startups, 25 proudly trace their origins back to our vibrant community! Sweden Startup Nation will be an independent, national knowledge hub working to understand the needs of startups, scaleups, and their ecosystems better. Why? Learning more about the specific needs the goal is to benefit national policy development and strengthen Sweden's ability to create a more resilient ecosystem for startups and scaleups. The Start Up Nation Initiative aims to build a stronger ecosystem. This includes stronger collaboration, resources, and strategic investments. What will it do? Swedish Start-Up nation will collect, analyze, and provide access to data about start-ups and scale-ups. The ultimate goal? To boost Sweden's competitiveness for the future.
