That moment when Peter Van Hende grabs his laptop and furiously throws it four meters away <3 I confess, I'd been in my thoughts for about ten minutes, disconnected from what was happening/saying on stage. Suddenly, Peter had my full attention. The whole room froze, back in the “here and now”. We had eyes and ears only for him. What a wonderful way to illustrate one of the four pillars of Think Possible, Proximus corporate culture: “I Make a Difference”. What does “making a difference” mean for a company? Is it making noise? Is it doing something nobody expects? Is it being disruptive? And what about all of us, human beings? How can we make a difference as individuals? And if everyone and every company starts trying to stand out from the crowd, to make a difference at all costs, aren't we heading straight for monumental chaos where, in the end, no difference (or message) will be clearly identified? Until now, my favorite pillar of Think Possible was “I Care”. That's what motivated me to become Think Possible influencer. That, and Pauline Dubuisson's persuasive power ;) Today, since Peter's brilliantly nihilistic and impactful demonstration, the “I Make a Difference” pillar has become a real source of daily reflection. Jan Van Acoleyen, Human Capital Leader at Proximus Group, shared with us that every day, on his way home after a day's work, he asked himself the introspective question of how he had made a difference. What if I asked you the same question, right now: today, have you made a difference? And if so, how? #proximus #corporateculture #thinkpossible #makeadifference #nocomputerwasharmeddisclaimer

Peter’s laptop perfectly embodied our four Think Possible pillars. He made a difference with a bold move, embraced the future of hands-free tech, and radically simplified the way to grab attention—all while showing he cared about the message... maybe not too much about his device. What a moment! 💜

Buying bullet proof laptops could help avoiding damages 😀 But then we should also consider sharing helmets @ the office ... scary !
