AI and Large Language Models are redefining content creation and search engine strategies, due to the relentless pace of AI. When it comes to content: how easy is it to determine if AI was used to create or assist in generating content? It’s impossible. Why? There is no inherent signal — or watermark — that exists to definitively determine if content was created with the help of AI. While there is a burgeoning industry of applications that claim to be able to detect AI — often used at schools — studies have shown them to be ineffective. The role of an SEO will be crucial in crafting content strategies that not only comply with the latest SEO standards but also maintain the authenticity and quality that resonate with human audiences.
