Anyone who’s worked on building ‘digital robots’ — AI-based solutions that autonomously perform tasks on a screen — knows the frustration of unreliable performance. Selecting the right buttons or navigating the correct paths can often be challenging. Microsoft’s Omniparser is an example of a solution that tackles this challenge by extracting the semantics behind different UI elements, improving accuracy. In our work with digital twins for workflows and employees, we’ve developed a similar approach. Our solution ensures that when executing specific business processes, the AI has access to as much workflow related semantic context as possible.
