We are absolutely delighted to announce that Lifted Ventures has successfully closed 13 deals in 2024. We are pleased to now announce Deal #12, The Bettii Pod which was founded in 2021 by the amazing Elaine Galston. The Bettii Pod is a pioneering FemTech start-up founded in 2021 has successfully raised £337,000 to further its mission of normalising and destigmatising menstruation while promoting sustainable menstrual practices helping to advance the FemTech hardware sector. The investment was led by Edinburgh angel syndicate Equity Gap, with co-investment from Scottish Enterprise along with Lifted Ventures who introduced 12 angel investors to participate in the deal.  Over 50% of the angels who have backed this opportunity came through the Lifted Ventures angel education programme delivered earlier this year which was supported by the British Business Bank. We are delighted that this programme is already having a fundamental impact on how women then go on to make better informed decisions and play an important role in backing female founders. Lifted Ventures contributed not only by helping The Bettii Pod raise capital from its angel network, but also by bringing expertise, connections, and strategic guidance.
