There is so much B.S. about what it takes to have a successful solo biz. Let me set a few things straight; 🚫You don't need to be all things to all people. 🚫You don't need to let random people book time in your calendar. 🚫You won't sell more if you reduce your prices. 🚫 Withholding how much it costs to work with you will scare people away. 🚫You don't need a massive following or to go viral. 🚫You can not convince someone to work with you by following up with them 5 times.. There are so many more myths we need to shatter. This is what I will be doing throughout "solopronieur summer." What did I miss? Let me know in the comments below. ⬇ ⬇

Adding this: It's not to late for you to start Great list, Jo Knight Dutkewich ⭐🙌 🌱
Thanks for sharing a very eye opening list Jo!
Jo, you don’t need to be making “six figures” to be successful. You need to cover costs (fixed first, then variable), and a little more. That keeps you alive to fight another day. And that’s pretty doable for a solopreneur, because your fixed costs are usually pretty low.
Some done-for-you services only need 2 or 3 clients monthly to meet their financial commitments. Therefore, I avoid sales funnels and all that nonsense. I love the feeling of freedom these suggestions generate, Jo.
Great truth in these Jo Knight Dutkewich ⭐🙌 🌱 What you can do is build your business in a way that works for you and your clients. We cannot be all things to all people. We each have different strengths and talents.
Truth Jo Knight Dutkewich ⭐🙌 🌱. Many of these things will absolutely stop or limit your growth. It is important to state stuff like this since there is so much self-serving nonsense being pumped out.
Totally agree!
