Artists need the ‘right to fail’ What does that mean? If you don’t spend your lives falling flat on your face, are you not a real artist? Or should you loudly talk about ‘the right to fail’ while making sure you never actually fail in case it damages your ‘brand’? Creativity does not NEED you to fail. It does need you to be WILLING to fail. It takes courage. It also takes intelligent management of where and how you take advantage of your ‘right to fail’. #CreativeConfidence - #DeepArtistry - #InnerArtist - #ArtisticJourney - #AuthenticCreativity - #MindfulArt - #SelfDoubtToSuccess - #CreativeFlowState

I often get so caught up in the creative process that I forget to stop and capture these fun behind-the-scenes moments. 🎨 This time, David and I tried to record a simple transition with a brush (which I didn’t catch... many times 😂 and David missed some too). It was such a fun reminder to pause and enjoy the journey, even the moments that don’t go as planned. I don’t always revisit these clips or put together videos, but this one was worth sharing! Sometimes, it’s in these little bloopers where the real magic of the process shines. #CreativeBusiness #ArtJourney #BehindTheScenes #BusinessLife"
Behind every smooth transition is a lot of… this! 😆🎨 As business owners, we spend countless moments trying (and failing) to get that 'perfect' shot, but it’s all part of the creative journey. Whether it's catching a brush, brainstorming ideas, or bringing murals to life—it's the imperfect moments that remind us how much we love what we do. Here's to all the times we didn’t catch it (literally!) but kept going anyway! 💪 David ⚡ Schmeikal Maya Corona #Bloopers #CreativeProcess #BusinessLife #murallife #muralist #artists

Is it worth my time? ‘How much time should I spend on making my art?’ ‘Am I wasting time if my creativity doesn’t make me rich?’ We’re told ‘time is money’. We’re told that we shouldn’t waste time on stuff that doesn’t earn a living. We’re told life is hustle. We’re told time is a comodity that we exchange for cash. The whole damn world, turned into a market place - one thing exchanged for another, with someone else skimming a profit off the top. To hell with that. If you want to create, create. Dance. Doodle, Wirte a poem. Play some music. Draw. Carve. Tell stories. Paint. Act. Be an artist - for 10 minutes, or all day. It’s who you are. Being who you are is the most important thing in the world. - #CreativeLeadership - #ArtisticGrowth - #ProfessionalCreativity - #ArtisticPotential - #CreativeBreakthrough

Independent artists can be discovered by anyone, anytime, anyplace. Access to art has never been better, resources to develop annd connect have also never been better. We need to stop looking at what was and start looking at what is. ‘Industry discovers artist - industry develops artist- artist grows audience’, is straight up outdated, and we are arrogant as industry if we think we have that power (particularly at an independent level) - The art is priority 1. - Communicating that art to an audience whose likely to care 2. The reality is artists don’t need industry for either. #artistdevelopment #artistmanagement #musicindustry

As artists, we are constantly viewing the world around us through the lens of art. Everything either peaks are interests or makes us question how it could visually present differently. Inspiration comes from that — the world around us. For us at The Lev Co, inspiration more specifically comes from music, books, film, food and good conversations. And sometimes Pinterest. Our camera rolls serve as testimonies for feeling inspired by what we see and experience. The next time you come across something that strikes a chord with you, run with the feeling. You never know what you might create! _____ #branding #socialmedia #graphicdesign #digitalmarketing #smallbusiness #specialtycoffee #coffeebranding #designforcoffee

Good Artists Borrow but Great Artists Steal…. Yes, it's true—great artists steal. But what separates a good artist from a great one is how they make it their own. When we mimic, we learn. We grow. We innovate. But let’s be real—outright copying without giving credit isn’t just unfair, it's unethical. It's about respect for the creator's effort, time, and originality. True creativity isn’t just about borrowing ideas; it’s about transforming them into your own. You can steal without being shamed for it. Here is the difference between Good and Bad stealing. Good Stealing — Brorrows from many* sources. Bad Stealing — Borrows from one* source. Let's honor the balance between inspiration and originality. #linkdln #newpost #branding
