Today the @NationalLiteracyTrust launches a bold and ambitious three-year strategy to empower people in the most disadvantaged communities with the literacy skills they need to succeed in life. We know that having low levels of literacy risks social and economic exclusion and so the NLT’s work today is arguably more vital than ever. To develop our priorities, we’ve identified three ‘Breakthroughs’ which would have the biggest impact on our vision for a more equal society, driven by literacy. As chair of the NLT, I sat down with chief executive Jonathan Douglas to discuss the three Breakthroughs and how they’ll help the most disadvantaged in society to change their own story. https://lnkd.in/gZPPBhC4 If you agree with this message, I’d encourage you to share this as widely as possible. #literacy #diversityequityandinclusion #DEI #literacyskills #inequality

I don’t know who needs to hear this but… "Unlocking literacy can pave the way for limitless opportunities and empower individuals to rewrite their own success stories." Joanna Prior
